Hey just wondering Im interested to take the lpn program. If I pre-study the NCLEX like 8 months before I begin the program should school be a breeze? Or are the clinicals the hardest part, or is the NCLEX the hardest?
I would choose Kaplan because I need structure, I have Archer right now and can't really gauge what I need to study or where I'm at. I need content review mainly and you guys really helped me with making my decision. Kaplan has been around for years and I think most people forget that. Thanks!
I would choose UWorld.I am currently using kaplan and planning to be done by December. After reviewing contents in kaplan, i would want to just practice questions where I can find it in uworld. Planning to take my test on end of January.
This was very helpful to help pick which source to use! I've taken the NCLEX-RN twice and getting ready to select the next review course after trying UWorld. Thank you!
Not sure if this is still going on but I'm highly considering Kaplan and UWorld. I benefit best from having that structure and good review that Kaplan offers but also like the idea of making my practice question time dedicated to UWorld so I don't get too comfortable with how one program structures their questions!
I would choose Kaplan, because it offers a money back guaranteed option and I used it for studying the ATI Teas, and HESI prior to applying to nursing school and I passed so says a lot from just that :)
I took the nclex twice. I’m looking for something else that’s not uworld I’ve used it only my first time and I failed at 75 my second time I studied so much about content I totally didn’t think about studying test taking strategies. So my second attempt I stopped at 145 questions and had 34 sata. I feel I need something that can help me understand how to breakdown the questions not super focused on content only but is focused a lot too on how to answer nclex questions but idk which one to choose
Hello John and Alaina. I appreciate you taking the time to do research and sharing that with us. I would choose Kaplan. I am a person who needs structure and the opportunity to ask an expert questions not only about content, but how to tackle the NCLEX style questions. Kaplan also looks like it provides great remediation opportunities to help nail down were I am struggling. Thanks again, and keep making a difference!
I think if I have to do NCLEX, I would go for Hurst, as live classes are always a go for me. Also Nursing com could be a choice because of its SIMCLEX.
i appreciate the video honesly, i would choose hurst or kaplan. i may do both to be honest. but i really im an in class in person review so i may ask the professor some questions and intaract with classmates
Hello, this was a beneficial video and filled with lots of knowledge on guiding new graduate nurses in choosing which nclex-rn preparation course would be best in order to prepare for the board examination. I would pick the Hurst review because I have invested in trying uworld question bank, archer content videos/question bank, and Kaplan content review/ question bank preparation courses but I did not find them personally that beneficial based off of my learning style. Thank you for all that you do for new graduate nurses. Please consider me for the giveaway!

Hurst review is the best.I even got similar question just with a change of word. The questions are tough and if you read your book and do the questions trust me you will pass with no doubt.
Hello, This video is very helpful, I think out of all the options I would do Hurst review. I like the fact that they have a fill-in-the-blank workbook that you can use, I think that will keep me organized and guide me along with what I need to know. I will be a 3rd-time test taker and I have used Archer and Uworld and have not had the greatest luck. My hope is the next Exam will be my last.
Great info on the NCLEX. Alaina's insights are extremely valuable, she's fabulous. I like Nursing.com because that's Alaina's favorite. Your videos are the best! Thanks.
