Best activity with young children in my opinion is the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. Spring for the family pass for the year. We took our girls there all the time. Planning on doing a video tour of it soon. Lots of other stuff too, Nature preserves, Cave dwellings, easy hikes, trampoline places, ninja courses, family rock climbing. All. The. Activities. for Families!
Absolutely! We have the Chapel Hills Mall and Citadel Mall. Chapel is North off Academy and I-25, Citadel is South of Academy. Chapel is more built up and cleaner in my opinion. There's also, paintball, whirlyball, putt putt courses, ninja gyms, overdrive race way and plenty of other stuff too. I have a 16 year old and she stays busy having fun.
I'm looking into moving to the Springs area this summer. I am an older single female and no nothing about the area. How do I find out which neighborhoods are safe? Thanks!
@@livingincoloradosprings1 I will finish my teaching contract here in Kansas, in May, and then can move anytime this summer....but will need a job first, which I'm looking into.
North is generally safer, though there are lots of safe neighborhoods. Like all cities, it has crime, but the crime rate is lower than most cities. It’s the cleanest air of any US city over 250,000. Weather is usually good, lots of clear skies, sometimes you can hike in January in your shirtsleeves, then again, two years ago, the last day of the school year was a SNOW day! but it usually melts really fast in the sun. Tons and tons of great hiking.
Garden of the Gods is the most-visited city park in the USA, 5 MILLION visitors a year! According to Trip Advisor, it’s also the BEST city park in the country. It is beee-you-it-full, and yea, it is free. Coloradoans are outdoors people, not sure about the question “are there any malls for kids to hang out in,” Why would you hang out in a mall, when your in Colorado? It’s like asking if there is a mall to hang out at in Disney World.
