Mappa really outdid themselves with this episode they even included the “who is Gojo to u” question at the beginning even tho I wished they animated the cool panel of Gojo they still showed out wit this one
actually they dont nearly put in as much work as before, since they know most people only wanna act smart but have no idea and will always be praising mappa now, like dont get me wrong its not bad, just for being mappa it's really bad, I hope they saving the money for itadori and choso tag team
If you notice, during the series it is implied that he is not Geto, he calls Gojo by his full name instead of "Satoru" as he used to call him, and also instead of saying "monkeys" he calls them no-sorcerers.
This has to be the best episode, story & animation was on point. Gojo turning around fresh off the percs to catch Hanami was done perfectly as well. They did the manga panel for it & everything else way more than enough justice
@@fwdgaines4133nah you tweakin, animation was insane. You probably talking bout the dimming that was in the episode but it’s a Japanese law that they dim scenes that might cause epilepsy.
Naw I still think jjk s2 episode 3 or 4 was better like toji folded gojo and killed riko and the maid like I did think that was going to happen. Like I mean who else can say they beat Gojo
after the reveal it becomes so obvious its funny. its amazing the way the story jumps around imo just to lead to this amazing twist. it seriously only gets better from here. jjk special fr
@@smok7785Yah these guys are getting their timelines wrong. The stitch only happened after Geto was killed in jjk 0 which only happened a year prior. Geto only recently died.
@@hazardEXE27 And you will just accept the fact that it is OK writing despite Sukuna stans themselves crying like babies for past few months that Gege is writing Sukuna in this fight pathetically? People were saying that Gege trashed Sukuna character because of how Gojo dominated that fight, and you just casually accepts this ass pull win made by Gege? Don't get me wrong, everyone knew that Gojo cannot stay in this story because with him there are no stakes in this story, but if you want to tell me that the way Gege finished this fight was satisfying to you, then you have to be fucking retarded at best And this whole statement that Sukuna was holding back... YES OF COURSE HE WAS, that is why he almost died 3 times in this fight, and each one of those instances he was saved by 10 shadows Give me a break
To summarize the important points of the episode: Gojo's Domain Expansion was active for 0.2 seconds which flooded everyone present with half a year of information. Which left all curse spirits, transfigured humans, and humans unconscious. And it took 299 seconds (basically 5 mins) to kill 1,000 transfigured humans before they the curse spirits could shake off the effects of Infinite Void. As for Not Geto, basically an individual (not said to be a curse yet btw) possessed the technique of brain transfer. And Geto was targeted as his latest victim because of his technique AS WELL AS his relationship with Gojo. We don't know what they want exactly but it should be clear that Geto was NOT the first. Secondly, Not Geto possesses the curse technique, memories, and curse energy of whom he's possessing. So much so that even Gojo's Six Eyes can't tell the difference. Lastly, Not Geto got Geto's body because Gojo didn't have Shoko dispose of Geto's corpse like the usual fashion. Obviously this is due to sentimental reasons, its likely some third party was in charge thus leaving it susceptible to desecration.
@@lordwigstyle8017 There wasn't time. He had to take care of the transfigured humans because their numbers were too great to prevent them from killing everyone. He could manage dealing with Jogo and company. Gojo is able to enter the veil because sorcerers are free to go in and out, but regular civilians aren't.
what about the 1 minute in gojo's head ? that went over my head. Is it one minute after the box is opened, and he lost cuz he had mini flashbacks on geto for one minute ?
Great reaction!! Gojo did his domain for .200 secs. The speed scene was in real time. It took him 5 min basically to take them all out. The quick domain was to make everyone stop moving And word Pat, that one scene made me more satisfied than the flash movie lmao was thinking the same exact thing
@@drateryako 💀 chainsaw man is good but storytelling wise it just falls apart in comparison, and the power system in JJK is far superior. Chainsaw man tries too hard to be edgy at times as well
@@mambamike5627 jjks story is mid af so calling csm’s story bad to counter that makes no sense lol. They both try to be edgy btw but yea jjk def got a better power system
@@aaronyaegar1557 not everything needs to be literally shown to be understood. Geto was already bleeding out and missing his whole arm Gojo just delivered the final blow, we even hear the slash
Just some important points here: The one minute condition for activating the Prison Realm is in the target's mind. So, when Gojo saw Geto and remembered all the moments they had spent together, more than 1 minute had already passed in his mind. That's why the seal activated instantly (and that's also why the fake Geto himself showed up, cuz he already knew that Gojo would be shocked and remember everything). Gojo used the Infinite Void for 0.2 seconds to paralyze everyone without killing the humans. However, the 299 seconds was the time he needed to kill all the transfigured humans.
That's right. In the moment he remembered all the time he spent with Geto, way more than a minute passed in Gojo's mind, so that's why the Prison Realm activated instantly.
@@OpposeGravity101yes its not a new concept if you watched anime before. Basically gojo was so shocked that time froze for him. It's like the echo spirit spirit rule from hunter x hunter. It's not that gojo has the ability to freeze time
Geto not actually being Geto is a crazy twist. Super unexpected, but at the same time does feel weird cus we went from having a good backstory on the main villain, to not even knowing who they are lol
7:47 you guys missed the comedy in that scene. Geto said they have to keep him in check for one minute. Then there's mutual dead silence and everyone just plays the game like geto didn't even say anything. Then jugo breaks the silence and goes "ARE YOU CRAZY?" This show is actually mad funny if you just don't talk over every scene that doesn't include plan information and combat
When fake geto said"Goodnight, satoru gojo", it was 12:24🧑🎄in japan. Before shibuya arc, MAPPA unnaturally shifted the broadcast time by a few minutes. They are evils
The game Geto and co. were playing is mahjong and the scenes of it sprinkled in here was actually interesting! Geto seemed to pull his winning tile, so he won on Tsumo with a closed hand, which is already a fair amount of points. However, the fact he seemingly won on his fourth draw means his hand was probably already in tenpai, or waiting on one tile for a win. It's crazier because his hand contains double yakuhan, the full dragon set and full winds set, plus terminals of all suits. Looking it up, this seems like a Kokushi Musou 13-way wait hand. It's a hand that you have to go into with the goal of getting, rather than going with the flow of whichever tiles you pick up or what triples/doubles you start forming. The points from this are pretty huge and the possibility of acheiving it, while not the most difficult, is still pretty challenging as the hand has to stay closed (you can't steal other tiles you need from players' discard pile). Since he's the dealer (East) then he gets over 45,000 points which is MASSIVE. It's also interesting that his hand is considered one of the "three big families of yakuman", since there are three big clans in JJK lmao. Another fun bit was how Jogo, Hanami, and Mahito all drew dragon/fundamental tiles before discarding them. Some think these tiles are based around Chinese philosophy of the heavens, earth, and man. So here, Jogo has the heaven tile, Mahito the man tile, and Hanami the earth tile.
This episode cemented everything for me. I’ve seen a lot of pages saying gojo went crazy again but I personally believe it’s the theory of being super sane (similar to the joker) he’s so calm and so focused he seems crazy to everyone. This man sees infinity everyday so we can’t honestly be surprised that he thought about all of those things even while fighting! He the GOAT FR. And the only reason he was sealed was so that this arc wouldn’t be done in two episodes cause let’s not forget he handled hanami in less than a minute 😭
I felt so bad for gojo during this scene, imagine seeing your best friend alive standing in front of you, breathing the same air as you, looking at you, smiling at you..even though he supposedly died by your hands. It’s just so evil how he used geto body to get gojo to stay for that minute.
13:09 he opened his domain and closed it within .2 seconds to avoid turning the people inside into vegetables and crushing the people outside of his domain.Gojos domain is so strong that it left the disaster curses stunned within those .2 seconds
And this is what I meant by saying that one person from the other group guessed this, the girl on the right (the other group reacting to this with Pat) said what if something is controlling Geto (or something like that) and she was absolutely right lol
Damn, I never saw dude on the left be so animated in a reaction. He must really fkin love this show. Is "that's my sensei" something fans of the show say?
I've read jjk for a couple years and going on with the manga, getting into the story, fandom, lore, everything i can say it is an absolute staple. Every week im intrigued by what the story has to offer, the art, fights, power system, characters especially. Event he way Gege uses metaphors and symbolism for things (like when Gojo talked abut Megumi about dying to win and risking your life) it makes you think differently about people's objectives in life, which is why this manga has intense love from me. It's all very enjoyable
Y'all talking about Gojo and main characters and such. The whole gimmick of the show is that everyone is a main character, or at least has the set-up of one. Yuji has the big evil thing inside of him that makes him really strong but untrained, Megumi has great potential that he's not sure how to use and is trying to save his girl, Nobara is the country girl who came to the big city to become a bigshot, Maki is the failure who has to defy the odds by being exceptional at the few things she can do, Todo is the greatest genius who ever lived yet he somehow portrays himself like a complete airhead without realizing it, and Gojo is the strongest purely by inheriting all his powers at birth and he intentionally shakes up the world of the higher-ups. Even characters like Mechamaru have their own "wanting to be friends and hang out" arcs. JJK doesn't write side-characters. They write main characters who get less time in the spotlight. They took "everyone is the main character of their own life" and took that as a main philosophy for writing all characters.
That’s a whole lotta cope to say Yuji is a background character and not even top 5 in his own show and the one thing you said that was special about him got given to meguimi…even that four eye bitch is now more popping than him.
to explain the timing confusion in the episode: -gojo activated the domain for 2 tenths of a second and then deavtivated it,u can see the domain background open then turn off immediately after, that short time alone in the domain caused humans and curses be immobile/frozen for few minutes. after that gojo started killing transformed humans but not curses cuz they might wake up if hit. so after 299 seconds gojo killed all the transformed humans but the curses woke up and fled (u can see mahito regain movement). -the 1 minute is time inside gojo's brain near the prison realm for it to seal him. so when gojo was about to get away not-geto showed up and that caused years memories to flood gojo's brain, thats more than 1 minute and thus gojo is sealed
mannn u know i cried sooo muchhhh when i first saw this episode, the feels that gojo must have gone through watching geto and that tooo get's body being used like this, my heart ached for him. and to tell yuji itadori respects him so muchhhhh is so overwhelming, yuji really loves his sensei
Walked up and splater bro on the wall is so insane Jogo screaming tying to save his friend but there was nothing he could do to stop him from even walking 😭
Definitely in my top best anime episodes, it was terrific ! I knew what was going to happen as a manga reader and I couldn't wish for a better adaptation
The idea that even a dead body could give an enemy critical information or access to exclusive techniques was always a cool idea to me when I heard about it in Naruto. Seeing the principle to full effect here in JJK. Idk if a situation like that has happened before in the JJK universe and I understand Gojo's sentimentality towards his friend even in the latter's death, but it was wildly careless not to make sure Geto's body wasn't properly disposed of considering how OP his technique and power were.
Man, I hard simp Gojo, but i gotta say hearing ol' boy spend 40 minutes of a 34 minute video screaming "tHAtSMYsENSeI" and "blah blah WILLPOWA blah blah" would make anyone hate seeing Gojo on screen, holy christ lmao
Gojo wasnt running that fast because he did all that with two tenths of a second. His domain was active for two tenths of a sec, he was running because that wasnt enough to hold the enemies very long (mahito, jogo, choso). He was running for almost 5 mins (299sec), 1000 kills, that like 3- 4 bodies a second.
It's not that Geto showing up made Gojo stay there thinking for a full minute, it's that you only had to stay there for one minute in your mind so him remembering all the past with geto and how he died. Gojo probably replayed hours of memories in his mind and therefore was sealed. The plan had plans.
So happy to see people exited and mindblown about the Geto thing. Every fkin person on youtube who ever did content on JJK used that picture from manga in the thumbnail at least once so.. sadly i already knew.
Rob is so annoying ppl are even cutting him off on MASH-UP REACTIONS. I just watched 3, and he was cut-off on every single one. Not trying to be a hater, i've been watching these guys for 3-4 years. Even when Rob started trash talking on Kakashi was cool, cuz ppl having diferences on opinions makes the conversation fun, but Rob screaming random and stupid stuff on reactions for the last year or so, is really starting to be a demerit for RT TV.
If you looked carefully, you’ll notice fake geto waving at gojo with his left hand even though Geto is right-handed. That’s because Geto’s right hand is trying to push down his left hand, because his mind is still in there somewhere 😢 (if you don't believe me, go read chapter 91)
Remember that Hanami tanked multiple hits from Playful Cloud and many consecutive Black Flashes from Yuji, lost 90% of its body to Hollow Purple, and regenerated from that pretty quickly. It took Gojo 2 hits to kill it. Gojo is to special grade curses what they are to 3rd grade sorcerers.
let me go ahead and put my headphone on cause i just know rob bout to be loud as hell with his little surgical knee, and i dont need anymore noise complaints from my neighbors lmao
Gojo did Domain Expansion only for 0.2 seconds. That time was enough to make everyone freeze. He killed transfigured humans after that in 299 seconds when everyone was frozen.
I think second dude from the right got it but just to clarify for everyone, Gojo opened his domain for 0.2 seconds, he gambled that people could survive the information overload from that and be rehabilitated if it's only that tiny amount of time. He closed his domain before starting to attack, but the information overload had everyone in the room completely stunned. So for 299 seconds after closing his domain he killed off the transfigured humans who were just stunned. He killed roughly 3.3 per second. Which doesn't sound like much, but consider that Gojo did not use any techniques because his techniques could endanger the humans around him. He killed over 3 per second with straight hands and raw physical speed. So that is actually crazy. He did not attack the main villains because they are so strong that the slightest stimulus would probably wake them up and just make things more complicated again since the domains short duration only had a weak effect on them comparatively. Another thing just becuase yall didn't comment on it/skipped that part in the editing and most people seem to get this confused. For prison realm to work the target only needs to stay close for one minute in their mind, and when Gojo saw the friend he thought he had killed, all of those memories from his youth flooded his mind, which was YEARS inside Gojos mind, thus the one minute condition was easily fulfilled. Hope that makes it all clear.
I fully understood. Thanks for your kind description. My understanding was not enough before I read your comment even though Japanese is my native language😅
@@hachi1404 In the manga it was described much more in detail, that's why I know. The anime really just vaguely described it. So it's understandable that you didn't fully get it, not your fault.
@@ardynizunia9709 You are so sweet!! I think that JJK is a representative anime which shows the weakness of J language which has so many homonyms. It is difficult for me to determine the meanings of the names of techniques & domain expansions by sounds only. I guarantee that no one can imagine what Jogo’s “gaikantecchisen” is like, however I can determine so well with “coffins of iron mountain”. BTW I started watching reaction as it's curious about the English word for “jujutsu” (it has been existing since AD700era in Japan) but was not translated as the title clearly shows😂
@@hachi1404 Interesting, I don't speak Japanese so I don't know much about that stuff, but I do know that you have many signs for the same words. I honestly learned that from Death Note, in that series sometimes people introduced themselves and said stuff like "My name is xy, using the Kanji for Moon" for example, which taught me that the word could be written with other signs as well apparently. I think one flaw of asian languages in general is that they have FAR too many signs. Yes, it can be cool for storytelling and double meanings, but it's not efficient for clear communication and learning the language.
@@ardynizunia9709 Thank you for your feedback! Exactly!!--> Japanese is not efficient for clear communication and learning the language. I had acknowledged first that Gojo’s six eyes “rikugan” as ‘land + eyes’ until I saw English subtitles. It might be naturally hard that JJK is full of the words created by Akutami-sensei anyway. I read Death Note at manga café so nothing was hard to follow. In Chinese, a letter has only one way to read, but Chinese characters in Japanese (kanji) have many ways to read. I know one kanji letter which has more than 100 ways to pronounce. On the other hands, as you already mentioned, we have a culture to enjoy homonyms. I love finding double meanings or hidden meanings in poems.
