This new Westman Atelier highlighter actually does have a fragrance in it, and the fragrance is synthetic. The website states, "The yuzu-citron scent in Liquid Super Loaded is made from safe-for-skin synthetic ingredients and is compliant with our NO LIST. This fragrance is formulated without parabens, phthalates, PEGs, polycyclic musks and nitromusks. Gucci loves the subtle, calming energy this scent brings to the product experience and, equally as important, that it is a sustainable alternative to natural fragrance." I personally found the fragrance to be mildly objectionable in terms of the smell and also found the product to be mildly irritating to my skin (I am guessing due to the fragrance though I am not absolutely sure about that). I had the same thing happen to me with Stella McCartney's skincare products, which also include a synthetic fragrance that they are claiming is not supposed to be irritating. I suppose it depends on how sensitive people are, but I do think it's unfortunate that these supposedly clean brands are incorporating ingredients that I find irritating. I never had problems with any of Westman Atelier's other makeup products. 😞
Yeah, I don’t see the point of adding fragrance to beauty products. The downside is not worth the lovely smell, which may not be lovely depending on individual preference.
@@SusanSaysSomethingsaie has a glow product that is similar without fragrance I believe. My skin is super sensitive and I can use the Saie but this Westman product did not agree with my skin. Kosas also has a glow product that is fragrance free but it is more shimmery than the Westman.
I've been struggling to get a smooth undereye, and then I got the Peau de Rose. Oh my heavens - after months of trying different concealers alone, concealers with correctors, correctors only with foundation, and every other combination you can think of, I use the Peau de Rose with concealer on top - PURE MAGIC! It just smooths and fills my fine lines - I set with powder and I don't look like I aged 15 years. SO GOOD - I never want to be without this for my dry, 50-year old undereye area.
You were NOT wrong. These new Westman Ateliers drops are gorgeous. I tried the Rose under the eye and the bronze on the cheeks. Had to have. Plus that brush is so unique. Great recommendations! Thank you
I am recovering from knee replacement surgery #2 and it is such a pleasure to slap on some ice, elevate my leg, and catch up on your videos. The reason that it is quiet in NYC is because they are here in Maine.
I like that you love showcasing and talking about Westman Atelier because this makeup seems of really good quality especially for sensitive skin. I am definitely thinking about purchasing some items as I am really picky on what I can put on my skin.
Hi Michele, have to agree with your observation; NYC seems pretty quiet this summer. I actually found street parking on a Saturday in Soho (I know…shocking). It feels like the NYC of old. Have to admit, I’m enjoying it. I just received the Worker and cheek Sonja G Fundamental brushes this morning and I can’t wait to use them.
I lived in NYC in the mid- to late 2000's and I used to LOVE Summer weekends in the City because it was so quiet! No reservations needed, cabs everywhere, and those long, warm walks home at night... Great days. Glad you got to enjoy some of that again on your visit
Hi! Welcome back! I'm not an AC expert, but I live in Miami so I have some experience lol. I think you should keep it always at a comfortable temperature because otherwise your AC system has to work harder to cool your home, especially since it's a pretty big house. Just my opinion, of course. Ok, I'm watching the rest now ❤ Some have moved out of NYC, I don't know if that's the reason why there is less people? Idk its interesting to know why.
Loving the hair cut it’s tru he really knows ur hair and what works for it and yes ur observations of Nyc are sooo valid I feel is less crowded due to the economy and also lots of people have permanently moved out of Nyc for good.

I’m loving the WA liquid highlighters. I haven’t tried under the eye like you showed but omg it really brightens the under eye and I love rest of your look. Your makeup looks so natural with this beautiful glow all over. Gorgeous!! Love seeing all the PR. I love the Strathberry bag you chose. I love the shade & style. I have one bag and haven’t had any issues. Good quality leather & great price point compared to the other luxury brands 😆. Great way to end vlog pool day! 😊❤️

Btw, I had just happened to buy Colleen Rothschild’s illuminating tinted under eye cream based off of Lisa J’s recommendation and I am wild about it…I have dark circles from allergies/sinus issues & it works wonders for me! I have been using Colleen Rothchild products for about a year. Her hair care is remarkable so much so that my hairdresser noticed a difference when I went to her after I first used the products. They smell great and my fine, dry, thinning hair feels just wonderful. And the hair products smell wonderful. Enjoy

This is Nevada desert for you. Don't let the house temperatures past 80, but even that is a bit too high, it is not good for your house construction and appliances. When we arrive to live in Las Vegas, we all learn the hard way 😅 One tip, wear a wet long tshirt or cotton tunica (in your home of course), it cools down the body and helps you with productivity.

I think your new bag is lovely. I just purchased a new bag from Le Tanneur. I have not purchased from them before, so we'll see. It is very pretty and seems very good quality. Good on-line purchase, shipping, etc. I use the HG bronzer--the cooler toned one to contour (brontour???) and find it woeks well for me. I am also a fan of True Botanicals. I love their Renewal (now renamed ?) serum. I have very sensitive, reactive,dry skin. It works beautifully and does not irritate. On the sensitive skin train, have you teied After Baume by Glossier? I don't own any WA cosmetics yet, but I do have the Colleen Rothschild eye cream that has a wonderful pearl reflective quality. Works well with my Clinique Corrector for a smothe under eye. I think you will enjoy CR Quench And shine Mask too. *****IMO for long hair.

Folks I know are concerned about the increased crime being reported in NY recently, and so are not interested in visiting the city at all. I'm loving my Liquid Super Loaded. Gucci really knocked it out of the park. The only negative I can say is I don't really like the fragrance. I wish it was fragrance free.
