So much weird violence! We have so much violence around the world, close to all of as just one step away, why we need so much more from movies makers?!

Why does it seem like most of these movies, people make the most selfish and worst possible choices when good choices are available, but they are supposed to be the "hero" or protagonist? They create a situation which causes property loss, people to die or get hurt, but they are supposed to be the hero? It's like the calling the arsonist started a massive fire, and then puts out the fire and calling them the hero.
