V-Sync is greyed out in options in Tarkov, and Gsync is disabled in Nvidia Control Panel, any ideas?

Fun fact I had a wide variety of people try these exact settings with their varying builds. Everyone saw an increase, the differences were anything from 10-150fps gained. Just depends on your build where you fall in the spectrum. Clarity was my number one focus though, so yeah it is nice to get an FPS bump but the ability to see details is the main difference.

Remove all other monitors/capture cards and only plug in your main monitor. That should allow you to create one.

When I up my brightness and gamma, I can see in dark areas very well, but what should look like darkness looks blotchy and purple. Very strange.

In your invidia settings you can set a max frames. Just set it to the refresh rate of your monitor.

What cpu are you running? I optimised the shit out of my rig I7 12700kf @4.9ghz and 3080. On customs I get between 120-144fps. On all other maps... Man.. I capped at 100 because most of the time I don't get more, and even drops down to 60... Same pc, a year ago, I played on 144 stable on all maps 🤦‍♂️

If you can't change Vsync, you definitely have nvidia low latency on in your game settings. Turn it off and you'll be able to.

the refresh rate and custom resolution tips are completely wrong. Vertical sync in drivers -> on -and in game -> off. Your fps will be locked to 60 in menu and unlocked in game to maximum value of your monitor refresh rate. No custom resolution is needed for .. 2 wipes already? The game will run on hz you have set in windows as default..

Incorrect. The game overrides your refresh rate if you open your settings in the game files you'll see. Just try it. Trust me.

Not a bug. You've turned off VSync on your GPU. So therefore there's no value for the game to sync to. Voila uncapped frames.
