Hashtag United are a one-of-a-kind football and esports club, based in Essex, England. Formed in 2016 by Spencer Owen as a group of mates playing exhibition games, we now play in the 7th tier of English football, the Isthmian League Premier Division. We won our league in our first season in non-league football and were looking good for a second promotion when the 2019/20 season was voided, but after the 2020/21 season went the same way with us top of the Essex Senior League, we were eventually awarded promotion based on PPG over the two part seasons. In 2023 we won the Isthmian League North and will now play in the Isthmian Premier!
We merged with AFC Basildon Women in summer 2020 and formed our women's team, Hashtag United FC Women, who play in the 3rd tier of women's football, the FA Women's National League Southern Premier Division, after they also won their league in 2023. We also now have 40+ youth teams, reserve and development teams, an inclusive team and a walking football team...plus our esports team who play FIFA at the world's highest level. The Lewes GK was great. He came out and closed down the angle multiple times, and was confident rushing out & claiming crosses/shots.

On the whole, this has been a good season for the Tags despite a lot of poor performances. Another 2-3 decent players and there’s every chance of challenging for the playoffs next season

Keeper is just not good enough. Don't like talking ill of people, and it never should be a personal attack, but his positioning for the second goal is so bad, and it's far from the first time this season. Wish him all the best, but a new one is needed for improvement.

@@rew0rked I agree. I feel bad for the lad, but what can you do. It must be hard for these players who are pretty much unknown and not playing in front of cameras to then be criticized online every week, but that's the game. Can't be good for his confidence, which then can lead to more mistakes, lack of focus etc.

Here is who you build around on the current roster: Tommo Haysom Smith Jermaine Greg (Back-up/mentor) Matty PK Cornhill Cornish (rotation) Misha (rotation) Luke Sak Toby (rotation) We need to bring in some wingers and a #9 who can bag 30 goals. Also new GK. And then 1 more starting-level defender and midfielder for injuries. If we do that, we can fight for promotion next year.

The attack disappeared in the second half. I think the lads are just tired.. can't blame them. We were second to the ball every time we really let off the gas after going up.. Another shame.. Hopefully the team can refresh over the summer, pick up a few new players and carry on

@@Andi-lk5ff Yep. Devs has favorites. Dont know what more Misha needs to do. Complete waste not playing him or Toby. Pedro is good and Zak has his moments but need more rotation. Same with the midfield. Cornish has been hot and cold, Cornhill the same. Camila gets more minutes than Misha and has not played anywhere close to the level needed consistently.

Sak is so frustrating to watch. Lad is absolute mustard and does 95% of everything so well - but his final product is really letting the side down considering how much of the ball he sees. Guaranteed that if he improves his final product, the Tags will be challenging top of the table
