kaylee roki this is considered normal for gender reveals. Slices sometimes are difficult to get out intact. It’s just easier to do it so everyone can see quickly and easily. Not like the cake is tainted...

I find it so cute that a good chunk of the time, the dad is super excited with either boy or girl. On one hand, if it’s a boy, he’s probably thinking “Ah yeah, I’m gonna have junior to take to games and go fishing”, while with girls it’s “I’m gonna protect this little angel with my life and treat her like a princess.” It’s always nice to see when both parents are equally excited about the reveal.

Gender preference doesn't compare to the love a parent should have for their child. Male or female. I tried for 6 years to get pregnant, I'm 7 days away from my gender scan and as long as it's healthy and here come Nov 28th. That's more than we ever hoped for after so long and being diagnosed "infertile" in 2016.
