Between all the Sky Factory Innovations/Shenanigans, the countless number of Gmod Betrayals, the GTA V Sprunks n' Bips, the numerous failed attempts to capture Bigfoot, and the constant threat of murder by Jason in Friday the 13th, AH has proven time and time again to be a dysfunctional albeit entertaining bunch of goofy idiots. 2017 was a great year for ah, they brought back rainbow six, introduced sky factory, and played so many other games. it really made it seem like you are just watching a bunch of friends, not coworkers for a company. by far, my favorite group ever, of all time!

Ever since AH got corporate, that feeling of friends seemed to disappear over time, now they just seem like they’re making content just to make content. That's actually been done before, not immersion but a real life version of TTT. A group did it with airsoft guns and rented an area a couple times. Pretty cool videos as well.

I think that Achievement Hunter is just one of those things that’s gonna stay with me my whole life. I found the channel when I was 11-12 and now as a 20, almost 21 year old i still watch them. I think the reason for that is AH has always just been real. The guys are just the guys, Lindsey’s just Lindsey and Fiona’s just Fiona. In the words of Todd Howard “It Just Works.”

The last time I could watch AH and forget I was watching a “company” RU-vid and not just a bunch of friends having fun and genuinely laughing and dong whatever the fuck made them happy. Clear friendliness and chemistry, all genuine, laughing till they cried, being themselves unapologetically. No monitoring or sensoring (except for the realllllll dark bad ones in fibbage😅) or forced acting in videos because they’re afraid of being “cancelled” by one wrong joke. Or they have to act a certain way on camera due to corporate ahit. I’m not hating on the new people because i loved Uno infinite and I watch some new content from time to time when it sparks my interest, but I find myself watching the 2014-2018 best of a LOT because I just miss the old days when it was just some friends being friends and messing around

Kisara3 Oh yes, I stopped watching after he left too, I had a lot of family stuff going on at the time and couldn't really get into any entertainment. I actually decided to watch their content again in June of 2016, but I started by rewatching all of Minecraft, which took me until March of 2017. So I didn't even start watching new stuff until then. It was a wild ride!

I've been really depressed lately, but seeing Ryan laughing hard really helps me out. When I see Ryan he reminds me of my dad, though my dad works as a probation officer and I worry about him every day because of the news and how scary that kind of job that can be. I've seen Ryan's streams and he seems like a really good guy and a good dad to his kids, and just seeing him smiling and laughing really picks up my mood. So to the editor, and all of achievement hunter, thank you guys so much for a wild and fun year last year, and thank you for helping me cope with my anxiety with this video!

Watching this makes me cry because it has been the best year of my life so far. I went to my first RTX this summer in Texas and I had the time of my life. It was only 3 days but I made enough memories to last a lifetime. I hope I can go back again sometime. I am also happy that Geoff ended up staying at the company after his vacation. I was worried he was gone forever. These men and woman have saved my life more times than I can count. Thanks AH for getting me out of depression and into a new start.
