I was on an elevator in Richmond Virginia the door opened an to my surprise I said Oh my gosh, your Tim Conway. He then said, Oh thank you lady, but I was not wondering who I am.... We then looked at each other an laughed hilariously. 😅
I worked as a Personal Protection Agent for multiple celebrities over the years including one of the surviving Beatles but I wish I could have met Tim Conway or Harvey Corman, they were hilarious !
Now that's some of the funniest comedy made. Timeless, and true to comedy !!! Terribly sad to hear of these comedy wizards passing. Love you Carol Burnett. You given us a true gift of laughter !!!
My favorite Tim Conway - Harvet Korman sketch, and perhaps one of the best from the Carol Burnett Show, was Tim as the dentist, and Harvey as the victim. I mean patient 😂 Poor Harvey! Tim was constantly cracking up Harvey, and the viewers. Good stuff! 👍
Tim could make the simplest thing a hilarious act putting all actors, especially Harvey, in stitches! I don't know how Harvey got through the skid. I would be rolling on the floor! 🤣😂😂😅 Love them!!!
IN MY VIEW Tim Conway gave the Carol Burnett Show a WHOLE NEW SHOW when he became part of the cast. I think at the beginning Harvey tried very hard to keep from breaking and then as time passed Harvey just let himself loose and let us enjoy Harvey breaking. We love it!
He was also a very nice man. Once at the top of his fame in the 70s he stopped in thousand oaks and gave my friends a ride when their pos vw bug broke down
Tim was straight all the way even through dress rehearsals [remember these were live]. On air, he went off with the express intent of breaking people ESPECIALLY Harvey [Harvey even had a little accident during the dentist sketch from laughing]. He loved making people happy, and especially found it easy to break Harvey.
Tim Conway was funny until (in my opinion) he started to purposefully egg on Harvey Korman. Then, the comedy because a contest between Tim and Harvey about who could breakup the other guy the most. It seemed (to me) to be an inside thing that was very funny.
