I've been using the same phone for 5 years. I use it everyday and haven't cleaned it once. It is perfectly normal looking. There was definitely a hygiene issue with the person who had this phone.

Simple things can cause a dirty phone. Like you spill a little water on the screen and wipe it away, the air is full of dust particles and what ever else which can cause build up. Especially if the liquid was sticky like juice or something. That's why it's important to maintain your device whether it looks good to the non-close up eye or not. ✨✨

I refuse to believe a phone can actually get this dirty. Unless it’s left in a landfill.

i used to work at a phone store, and let me tell you some people came in with their phones so dirty most of the time i didn’t want to touch it.

This makes me rethink about humanity in general. I mean, how can a phone end up like that? Do they bury them underground?!

For those of you who don't understand how a phone can get this dirty, do you not use a phone case? Because this can happen underneath a phone case without someone realizing, especially if they have a job that isn't indoors. I worked in a plant nursery for a few months and if I didn't have a clear phone case, I wouldn't have noticed how dirty it was getting inside. There's also a chance that these are abandoned or old phones that have been gathering dust for years- let's be real, some of these don't look current.
