I love how you always make sure to give both drugstore and high end items options as much as possible! I’ve been with you for absolutely years and you’ve always been a drugstore girl at heart so when you mention high end items I know they have to really live up to the hype to make it into a video for you let alone the our yearly favourites! As a mua for over 25 years (no longer practice the last couple of years though!) I’m someone who is very strict on what made it into my kit and my personal collection. If I’m going to spend my hard earned money on these products I like to know if they are worth it. I have spent many years watching your videos and you’re one of the people I listen to and appreciate your opinion when it comes to both drugstore and high end products! I keep wondering what’s the deal with all the beauty influencers on RU-vid doing kinda boring eyeshadow looks these days. When I first started watching RU-vid people would do such great, shimmery, detailed eyeshadow looks, now everyone just does brown eyeshadow in the crease, or putting bronzer in their creases, and that’s it. And it’s not just one person, most influencers are doing it nowadays. There are only a couple people I follow now, Angelica Nvquist, and Heather Austin, who do detailed eyeshadow looks. It’s such a bummer 😢 But I still love your videos, and love your recommendations! I’m just wondering about that is all. 😊
I'm glad people are still talking about the L'oreal Lumiglotion instead of just the Elf and Charlotte Tilbury. Good to know it's not forgotten! I love 99% of L'oreal products. Such a good brand with high quality products. 👌 and yes to the All Nighter. Saved my makeup when I thought it was crappy makeup. Nope, crappy setting spray!
I love how professional your videos look in terms of the camera lighting and structure. Not that they were ever bad (they weren't at all) but now there is just a different element to it, you're killing it out here! I definitely have started exploring content creating at the wrong point in my lifetime (terminal illness) to be able to really hit this level of quality so I'll forever be envious but thank you for being such an inspiration and motivation!
When the Tarte shape tape foundation was dropped, I was signed up to know and immediately bought it! I remember loving it but it was thick in the summer so I forgot about it lol definitely need to try it again!!

The Tarte shape tape foundation is also my favorite foundation as well. I discovered in the Ulta sale last spring when they had their sale. And just a week ago I discovered the shape tape smoothing primer at Ulta once again, and love that too.

love the loreal true match serum, i have someexpensive foundations but this one is my fav. But the dropper is what puts me off. have they changed the true match serum to a pump too

Switched to Iconic London Radiance Booster when I discovered that Lumi Glotion contained denatured alcohol. Still like the Lumi glotion finish better though .

Just wanted to add that “stacking” SPF does not work. The highest SPF is actually the amount you get, adding more may actually dilute the high SPF and decrease your protection.
My problem with tarte foundation is they all pull really yellow/warm I can't find a good shade match in any of their foundation products (I'm fair skin and blonde, blue eyes) I'm always one of the lightest shades
I wonder why the True Match is different in the US? I'm in Australia and have been using the True Match foundation for years and it has a silver pump. The shape of the bottle has changed but it's always had a pump.
I love your makeup recommendations and these types of videos specifically. But it throws me off to see the huge contrast between your hand fair skin complexion and your medium face makeup. It would be nice to see you use makeup that actually matches your true complexion. Specially for those that are of your same true skin complexion as you.
