I've been using the round lab sunscreen for almost 2 years now and while I love it, I just got the skin1004 sunscreen and you've made me even more excited to try it!
I recently found you, so I have to save this round up for my next skincare purchase. I stocked up so much skincare over the holidays, including some prequel ❤. I appreciate the range, I’m willing to shell out the coin for my most concerning area! My under eyes. Thoughts on niod vs bioeffect …little hallowing and darkness?
Good question! I had a course of skincare treatments in Korea and two courses of MOXI laser. When recovering from laser treatments I use a very limited routine of 3-4 products. I incorporate other products very slowly after that. I talk about the healing phase of laser treatments in my MOXI video. Of course, with the amount of skincare I try and other environmental factors, hormones, etc. (and without a controlled environment) you can’t ever know if just one product is responsible for certain effects. And topicals are not comparable to treatments. But I do my best to take attentive note and knowing my skin baseline, I can generally tell with what works for me and doesn’t.
Wow. This is one of the best lists I’ve seen. #fomo! I would LOVE to switch to THD over ascorbic acid because you can use it with everything(please let me know if I’m mistaken), but I haven’t seen the science supporting it’s similar efficacy on collagen building. What’s your understanding of how well it works in that regard?
Love this video Bekah! Never purchased from Stylevana but I would like to. When you purchase from Stylevana do you buy insured shipping or the standard shipping? Thanks!
Oh good question! I think I've only ever done standard shipping with no issues. Some products can take a while to arrive depending on stock, but they let you know the shipping window when you check out.
Take the hand protection seriously, everyone. It’s such an easy and affordable way to protect the look and health of the skin. I hardly wear rings on my fingers anymore because I don’t want to draw attention to my hands. 😔
Hi, good question! I basically just use it as a hydrating mist before going in with serums or moisturizers. I do like to wait for it to dry down after misting and I just make sure that I'm not using products with actives or antioxidants after that.
Oof yeah, I feel you! A few thoughts: The peach & lily ginger melt might be a good option for you to melt off makeup without leaving a residue. Sometimes cleansing balms, even the best of them, just aren’t right for oily skin types. But everyone is different of course. Sometimes a cream cleanser (like the ones I mentioned) followed by a gel cleanser can work too because creams can break down SPF/makeup without the heaviness of a true oil or balm cleanser. Second cleanse is just as important as first cleanse! Getting off all of the residue from your oil cleanser is really key. A thorough gel cleanser, even with a little bit of foam, can be best for me when I’m super oily (Jordan Samuel Matinee, Youth to the People Superfood come to mind). Spending some extra time on your second cleanse and using a clean face towel every time can make a difference too. Lastly, incorporating a BHA a couple times a week if you aren’t already. Applying that with a clean pad after cleansingcan help penetrate oily pores and also help sweep away any remaining debris. I know it’s super frustrating and everyone’s skin type is different. I hope this helps!
bekah's an influencer who receives tons of products to try and shares her opinion on them for a job, and that means the people in her life might use a lot of product too! her priorities and interests might be different than most people's but she never dictates anyone's choices... if you watch people online talk about skincare it's a given that they try many moisturizers for different purposes and like a lot of them!
btw: Do you know what you are actually using in terms of actives and ingredients and why you are recommending them??? I have the impression that you have no idea - sorry not sorry...
and to follow up on my previous response, bekah is clearly passionate and informed about skincare ingredients and clearly demonstrates that throughout her videos? she obviously puts a lot of effort into making her videos as detailed as possible (this one is literally just under an hour lmao) idk if you're just a troll but if not, this was an unnecessarily negative comment that offers no constructive criticism and undercuts the hard work of someone who clearly cares about organized information (and admits when she does not)!
