Honestly, out of all of Raj's girlfriends, I liked Emily the most! She was a bit dark, but she really seemed to care for Raj and she sure didn't ask for any of his money! This really is too bad they broke up!

When Howard frightendly says “whatever you hear tonight, remember I love you” I just lost it. At heart, he’s such a good and honest guy but he has an amazing ability to make everything he says sound creepy and weird. He’s the funniest character of the show, I think.

The Big Bang writers ruined things by getting rid of Emily. She was good man and they laid so much groundwork for her and Raj only to ruin it

Raj should have had a season dedicated to him as the rest of the group had. It always felt that he was in a second place compared with Sheldon, Leonard and Howard.

I would date Raj way before I would even consider holding hands with Howard let alone anything else. Emily was pretty cool. Raj deserved to have been the one that got married.

Dam you, Rajesh. She was the hottest.

Of all the characters to cut from this show, why her? She's a neat addition. Funny, sweet attractive, dark sense of humor, and a great contrast to Raj.

Raj is such a sweetheart, you can't help but adore him. It really is unfortunate that his character that didn't develop much throughout the show. He had his moments, but he would've been much better off if things had worked out between Emily or even Lucy. (Though I liked Emily most) That way, he could've explored a long-term relationship and even marriage. But by the end of it, it went back to the storyline of an arranged marriage (I actually haven't seen the last season but I've heard about this), which was brought up in the early seasons with his parents. We all have our opinions but I think his character would've evolved best if his season 12 arc had been different. Now I know some will be thinking "happiness doesn't mean marriage/relationships" and while I agree, from the get-go, Raj has always looked for love. And as the seasons progressed, he emphasized more and more on not just a quick relationship, but to actually settle down with a girl. Hence why he should've been with someone he truly loved in the end.

Emily was definitely one of the most attractive ladies in the show. She's very intelligent both academically and emotionally which instantly makes her a very respectable person (which is the kind of lady I find attractive), she cares for Raj (lucky guy), has a firm stance on what she thinks but is happy to talk about it instead of pushing it to others, and not to mention her unbelievable beauty. Her dark side is the only thing I find concerning (because I hate gore more than the average Joe...I can blackout during a blood test) but all her other qualities makes this something so small lol Fantastic person, I never envied a TV show character more than I did Raj

Emily is the only one that seemed to really try for Raj. Deaf girl used him for money. Lucy dumped him because he was trying to get her in more social situations. Claire was pointless, just seemed to be there as a reason to cause their breakup, because she was gone right after. Anyone else wasn’t really important enough to remember 🤷‍♀️ I just don’t get why they had to end their relationship.

Man, I loved the Raj & Emily pairing. They had chemistry - she was pretty & smart. It was a great character move after Raj being the guy who couldn’t even talk to girls. They ended up taking him the super-creepy route to end the show - of course, these are real people playing the characters so real life happens, but otherwise I wish they could have ended his storyline with her.

It is just wrong that Raj doesn't have a girl.. and the show looks like it will end with him having no one... Not cool at all.

The girl in the white coat from the escape room scene is the same one from the episode where Howard and Raj go to the goth club.

I never understood why they never let Raj have a long term relationship.

Emily was the best. Hot, sweet, and a dark sense of humor. Apparently she joined the regular cast, and for about 5 or 6 episodes she was in the tableau of the cast eating in the opening credits. But, for some reason, they didn't keep her around. I wish they would have kept her around.

The dark side is strong with Emily.

I feel that the writers made a major mistake with Raj's storyline, particularly as they provided no satisfactory resolution in the final episode. He was the only major character not in a stable relationship. Even Stuart somewhat improbably ended up with a girlfriend. It was a shame that in the end Emily and Raj did not get back together again. The non-relationship with the Anu character was also rather pointless because it was nothing more than a relationship of convenience for both of them and was therefore pretty meaningless. Thank goodness they didn't get married. It is a bit of a mystery why the relationship between Raj and Emily was dropped and never revived, not to mention a lost opportunity.

In reality: Raj: I'm richer than Bruce Wayne. Girls: Done.

They should have stayed together. It is so weird at the final episode where they all got married (even Sheldon) and Raj is the only one that is alone...

Thanks for that. I'd never gotten the full Emily arc and it was nice to see from start to finish. I liked Emily and I wish they'd used her more. I also wish she'd had some kind of dark secret that was later revealed, but I think that was the joke that she was only kidding so it might not have worked, but I loved her character in the show. One of the best semi-regulars, maybe the best overall, or maybe Bob Newhart.

I am supprised that Raj is seen as the inadequate one when really the ladies he went out with were inadequate. What a waste, Emily was the most important relationship Raj had in the series, even though they were never engaged. Anu was a nice character, but the writers wrote and developed a character with Raj for so long that not other character could replace Emily.

I love that we got to see the shift from 'nerdy comic book readers are the only ones who like superheroes' to 'most people talk about and enjoy superheroes because of marvel' on this show. Not only that, but that instead of being gate-keeping jerks, the guys were excited (and probably turned on, especially wolowitz....) when the girls would talk about those things.

I relate to Raj so much, i have no confidence when it comes to the sphere of romance.

I know Emily seemed great for Raj but I had a GF once who was really really into monsters and gore stuff and let me tell you ........ It got creepy and scary to the point I had to take police's help to make her stop stalking me ... Whole stalking thing happened after I broke up with her

I have a theory about the motives the authors removed the character from the show, making the two of them breaking up: Emily was the only main character who didn't get along with Sheldon at all. The big bang theory universe now goes around Sheldon and they couldn't have someone in the main cast who openly despised him...

Emily is exactly the kind of girl I like. She’s smart, sassy, likes what she likes without care, and stands up for herself when she’s pushed too far. Hope a girl like her is in my future.

Emily was wild. Raj was lucky to have her.

Emily was the most tolerable of all of Raj's girlfriends, but they were so incompatible. Really wish Raj would have stayed with the cleaner lady who worked at the University, that would have been so cool. Two different cultures, her from a poor background, him from a rich background, she could have humbled him and their relationship could have been so fruitful. Oh well.
