I loved the confusion on Shawn’s face during this scene.

You know what’s funny to me is two pronged first Shawn and Cory are so close that they practically are married which I think is the point of the joke but the second part that this scene couldn’t have predicted is that after Cory and Topanga are married and in the Girl Meets World season one holiday episode Shawn comes back Topanga says hi to Shawn by saying “Hey,Mr.Cory” and he returns the greeting with “Hey,Mrs.Cory.”, so while it was a joking exchange this scene basically predicts the future.

Although joke aside I’m not sure if that comment is more insulting to Cory or Shawn,even if it was definitely not meant to be offensive and Shawn definitely knew that it could be taken badly out of context.

Topanga was raised in a way to not fully understand what the meaning is behind the flag. I like that episode because Cory links it to respecting his father. Not doing the Pledge of Allegiance is not respecting those who fought so very hard to give you the freedom you have now. It's a really great episode.

thestar2471 I'd prefer the real Eric. Which is fortunate, as it's confirmed that Eric, Feeny, and Shawn will all have prominent roles in Season 2. Along with another BMW alum that hasn't been revealed yet. GMW definitely needs them. I have no qualms against Riley. Cory and Topanga are still great, and Auggie can be likeable. But oh my word... I want to take a flamethrower to Farkle, Lucas and Ava.
