Oooh my gosh I just made a huge connection, if anyone else did..I'm impressed. At 0:55 Shawn goes "Woah" but he did it exactly like Matthew Lawrence's (Jack) older brother Joey Lawrence. That's why Jack smiled and and pointed at him as acknowledgement that that's what he was doing!

At :58, Shawn's WHOAAA, I wonder if that was adlibbed by Ryder because the look on Matthew's face was adorable and he didn't seem to have expected that cute jab at his brother Joey.
They did it by doing multiple, multiple takes until they could hold it together. That's what the whole bit with Eric in the couch was, showing us some of the failed takes they messed up, mostly due to laughing. After doing something so many times, you eventually quit finding it so funny and can get through it. And like Rider suggested in the end... sometimes they just have to take it line by line, and edit it together to make it work. Do a line, cut the film before the laughing starts, then do another line, repeat until they have the scene.
I haven't seen this show since I was a kid, and I totally forgot about the guitar girl at 8:36 ...until now. It's funny what your brain can remember and set aside.
They should have an episode on GMW where, Topanga brings up that Cory, Shawn, Eric and Jack dressed up as girls. Basically, them telling Riley and Maya all the crazy stuff they did. Just an episode with all of them together. My parents would tell me crazy stories he did when he was a kid.
Well they've already put in references from the original to Girl Meets World like where Cory mentions the War episode. I like your idea though. It would be a nice Boy Meets World Anniversary episode👍🏻
I always loved Eric, he's hilarious, I'm still a little bummed they made him stupid as the series went on. Although he was a bit of an idiot savant when it came to interpersonal issues ("Lose one friend, lose all friends, lose yourself.").
