stottlemeyer was plenty fed up with monk´s antics which is why he didn´t want to call him for cases at the beginning.... it was just that stottlemeyer couldn´t crack them and monk did and later he grew used to it i guess like with randy
Andy Breckman said that they really wanted Levin in the show but were unsure if an actor of his level will agree. They were surprised and very glad he did. Unfortinately Levin never won an Emmy. Would have deserved it.
I watched monk religiously as a kid. Then, as a teen, I watched Silence of the Lambs. Boy ohh boy... what a treat that was. Great actor with amazing range.
"Reverse liposuction" Yo, in all honosty, Dale the Whale freaked my out when i was 8 years old....its been many, many years...and he still freaks me out😂
I like season one Stottlemeyer because the show hadn't figured out the characters yet so he was almost an antagonist in some of the episodes. I dug it.
rewatching monk, one clip stood out when stottlemeyer is drunk in vegas and sings aint no sunshine . he oh my goodness bares a striking resemblance to Gerald mcraney .
Tony Shalloub might have been the star of the series and he was great, but to me, Ted Levine completely stole the show as Captain Stottlemeyer. There were plenty characters like this before him - the "normal" tough cop acting as a contrast to the brilliant detective protagonist - but Stottlemeyer might be the best one there was. He's tough, he's intelligent, he gets annoyed by Monk's antics constantly but obviosly he has tons of respect for him, and most of all, he's genuinelly likeable and funny. There could not be Stottlemeyer without Monk, but this show wouldn't be half as good as it was without Ted Levine.
Leland First Episode: Wants nothing to do with Monk Leland Final Episode: Trying to stop Monk from doing something he'll regret for the rest of his life
Re making monk would be a great thing honestly people will watch it, it will never flop, atleast making a movie out of it you guys dont want to make a series
So I didn't recognize it at first, but the same actor played the police captain on The Bridge, a dark police drama about the US-Mexico border. It's a very different show, though oddly enough, he's also responsible for dealing with an introverted socially challenged detective in that one.
Pouvez vous passer s il vous plaît Monk avec le lépreux au début de la série jaie vu l autre partie mais la première mdr trop drôle j adore merci beaucoup
The psychic. Thats where ashcomb has his wife drive off a cliff and drives an unconscious psychic to the scene to find his wife. Monk busts him from a tiny little pebble.
