Coming to watch the U's for the first time at The Community Stadium. Afraid I'm a Rams fan but always follow Utd and used to regularly go to Layer road in my younger days. Looking forward to cheering Colchester on once again. 😃😃

Nice. I used to go to every home game at Layer Road in the late 1980s and there was a bloke that used to shout out "HE"S RE-LACED IT!" at the slightest suspicion of handball by the visitors. Even in the 1980s, this was still quite an outdated, but still very funny , reference. Does anyone know if "Hagar and Helga" (the two guys in denim jackets) are still around. I haven't seen either of them round town for years. Up the U's.
