That's how it's supposed to be. The engine is putting ALL the power to the wheels, with no electronic buffers. The driver controls it with the throttle. Modern cars are built to be slow to 'fit' into a particular segment, and they slip most of the power away, pull timing, apply brakes, close throttle automatically, to be 'safe', and are absolute garbage as a result.
I was thinking "how is he even able to drive in such conditions" I'm obviously not a race car driver but a suspension tuned like that definitely doesn't help with lap times either.
Sils Wei First of all, it’s not sped up. Secondly, even if it were sped up, that doesn’t explain the intensity of the shaking, only the frequency. So I say: Wut..?
@@riccardorampini9266 This is a race and you want to be quick. This car doesn´t look fun to drive with all this snap oversteer. I am not saying that the car should more understeer on throttle this car is SLOW. And SLOW is not fun.
Great selection of best turbocharged cars of 2019. hillclimb season made me smile at sight of these beasts rippin' it up mountain roads and like i said on your N/A list,it's hard to choose the best among them,in terms of insanity, but in terms of speed and how impressive they are,Rybniček's F1,Schagerl's Golf and Bratschi's Evo are top dogs in this wild pack.
Thanks ;) About the times, they were not displayed because every car is on a different event and there would be no point of comparison shown to evaluate. But rest assured, all are actually quick machines with some of them winning the silverware to prove it. For example the Subaru run shown is the fastest ever performed at Leadfoot Festival. The Nissan GT-R won Knysna Speed Festival this year. The Lancer broke the All Time Touring Car record at Osnabruck (run shown). The Golf was the Austrian Hillclimb Champion and the most dominant HillClimb Touring Car in all of Europe this year... Just to start ;)
Thank you for your reply, appreciate the information. It's not always easy to judge speed. I'm particularly pleased to hear that the Gtr is quick, the spoilers do look insane!
The mini quatro was an insane car, but Allister McRae an insanely good driver. The Alfa 75 was a combination of both, how that thing breaks away when the boost kicks in, and the driver catches it everytime! Just would have liked a proper Audi S1 Quattro in this compilation as well.
Hah, I was reminded of the ol' '60s, '70s & '80s car films that sped up the film trying to look faster, but just looked silly... Except the McLaren didn't look silly.
They are faster off the mark though, with better weight distribution and way more efficient than a combustion engine. We all love cars that sound like the mini from the start but it is progress.
8:52 That is not a mclaren f1 is a transformed Grullón GT made for hillcimb looks like a mclaren but it is not if who on instagram look for DDRMOTORS to see the car in street version
FAREED KHAN N54 that is so but what’s the point in having 1600hp thats never put down on the road once during the run. Nerfed by TC and dialled down map, no excitement is my point when compared to even the slowest cars in the field... a rolling algorithm, just boring.
Coach bombay: How many times do I have to remind you!? Get those rebounds! Get those loose Pucks! Get...just...just get the hell out of here! Mclaren driver @ 9:10
Did you watch another video? No line, wide rear end, no good (fast) driving at all. Looks nice, sure, but definitely isn't fast. The best driving in this video is McRae, extremely aggressive line, no bullshit fast approach.
