Trey Parker and Matt Stone do not like Donald Trump. Well to be fair they are not liberal they are more libertarian. Oddly enough Ike few times crying in the past McCain or Romney lost. So many believe that he’s a rhino. Both sides of the aisle they don’t like any side. Turd sandwiches Democrats and giant douche bags Republicans.
They dressed Garrison up like Donald Trump because they don’t like Donald Trump. Interesting fact about Trey Parker and Matt Stone they’re not liberal or conservative they identified as libertarian. They don’t like any side of the aisle. Such as they literally referred to call Democrats turd sandwiches and Republicans giant douche bags. Of course seeing Ike Captured Mr. Garrison being anti-well Trump in the episode would label him as a rhino, and the reason is because he favored two presidential candidates who have collaborated with the Democrats. Such as John McCain along with Mitt Romney.
@@monkeycat48 the problem is they tend to weigh annoying but relatively harmless liberal optics and genuine conservative threats to the stability of society as "both equally bad", and sometimes they'll just ignore the latter outright. January 6th, the biggest assault on the nation's capital since 1812, never got any mention.
The real issue behind having Garrison as the Trump stand in, if I recall, was because they (like most of America) believed that Hillary was going to win. So they expected it to not be THAT big of a deal. But when Trump actually DID win, they had to have Garrison stay in the role, and that meant they had to shift around a lot.
@@rorylynch7775 Trey Parker and Matt Stone did not like Towlie at all. They just threw him in there as a gag. The only reason they kept him was because South Park fans actually thought it was funny for a towel to go up and ask questions like you want to get high? With a lot of other insane stuff. Randy, I mean on and off is liked but I will say when he became a farmer that was kind of like when I started disliking him too. I mean he’s done some pretty insane stuff to the point where you would hate him. But when he started becoming a weed grower, he just became more selfish along with making his family miserable. No one happy about the idea of growing weed. It’s not until that episode where he turns into a Karen he realizes I was better off as a geologist. Now finally for pip he was a character that never developed as a character for anybody to like. Nothing more than a punching bag that literally didn’t develop. He just kept taking the abuse to the point where fans were just getting tired of him not developing instead just taking it so much that the creators ended up writing him out by hiding him in the background then deciding to kill him off an episode which Comedy Central pulled because of the Muhammad threats, they’ve been receiving by radical Muslims. Pips replacement was nothing more than Butters. Who was by far the one character, whose curiosity along with all with trying to hang out with the boys, even being naïve won fans over
