I don't understand how anyone could like Kane and Lynch and Army of Two (both series that are pretty subpar overall) but not like Halo or Gears of War.
Steven v Gameplay, weapons, setting, some of the most intense multiplayer in gaming ever, horde mode (Gears is the franchise that basically made horde a thing).
Steven v Obviously you don't play the multiplayer and a sequel to a game isn't supposed to change the entire formula, it is supposed to be more of the core game with new additions to keep it fresh (which is what the games do). The point of my original comment wasn't to talk about Gears of War, it was to point out that Kane and Lynch and Army of Two are very subpar games compared to Halo and Gears (at least, that is the general and critical consensus). You not liking Gears is just your opinion, I don't know why you're so set on trying to tell me it sucks. Also, A LOT of people would disagree with you.
Unless it's Postal. Postal 1 was an isometric game, postal 2 was an fps, Postal 3/That Game That Doesn't Exists was a Third Person Shooter. Postal 4 could be an RTS, for all we know.
