The whole scene is some of the best acting. In fact the show, for it being a comedy, has some of the greatest levels of acting I've ever seen. Dennis, in particular, he's such a well-trained actor. He went to juilliard. Some of his acting is Shakespearean level 🤣

The spider song scene destroys me every single time I watch it. From Dee’s delivery of “please ENjoy THIS song” to Charlie’s voice being unironically good. The reaction from the crowd. The spitting. Seriously one of the greatest moments in the show.
The solidarity in spitting at those people. They hate that Charlie didn't play the happy song but they actually hate those socialite phonies even more. Charlie spits once and they're so quick to stand with him. That's friendship.
If anything this show is the opposite of a good friendship,they all backstab and plot against each other and basically dont like each other as theyre terrible people,thats the entire point of the show

I showed a girl a few episodes of Always Sunny recently. I was excited to show her because I liked her and the show means a lot to me. She hated it, and complained that I had too dark of a sense of humor. We never met again. She was a 1 star girl.

He's a Juliard trained actor/performer and you can tell. An interesting tidbit is that Rob never even wanted to be on screen and wanted to be a writer/director. I think he even went so far as to say that he only did the pilot because they would have otherwise had to pay another actor. And they were basically flat broke. He admitted the rest of the cast is above him in performance ability.
That Dennis is becoming more and more unhinged as the series goes on is hysterical 😩. He is right on the line of being a serial killer I think lol. Charlie can’t possibly get any more illiterate as we’ve seen thank you thank you 🙏🏻
I don't remember where i seen this but i heard or read somewhere that was the point or that's where they are bringing Dennis! The writer's were pointedly making Dennis Psychotic more and more with each episode/season! 😭
Yeah, I love IASIP so much, it pretty much fits exactly into what I find funny, and absolutely excels at it. The writing, insane episode ideas, characters, and acting is all top notch, and there’s 14 seasons of it, with not a single episode lacking. Obviously I have preferences for different seasons, but there isn’t any part of the show the fails to meet the insanely high level of quality Sunny establishes since episode 1. I love other shows, too, like Commmnity and The Office, but there’s a personality to IASIP that makes it uniquely entertaining, and timeless, and makes me always reluctantly give in to watching all 14 seasons again, even when there re so many other sows out there. I’ll love this show and continue to watch it forever. Thanks IASIP
The dynamic each character brings and how much they compliment each other has made this show last as long as it has. Been watching since day one and will continue watching for years to come.
12:29 I love how they kept the "It's fetish- it's fetish shit!" even though you can see Danny bending down and trying to contain his laughter and after the next cut he's standing upright again 😂If you watch the bloopers of this scene they all start laughing right after the cut.
He kind of saved the show too. Not enough people were watching at the end of the first season so FX said they had to bring in a “big name” to draw in more of an audience or the show would be cancelled.
I enjoyed it except you cut off the best part of the implication. “Don’t you look at me like that. You certainly wouldn’t be in any danger. So they are in danger. No ones in any danger, how can I make that any more clear to you. It’s an implication of danger.”
I seriously suggest everyone watch the bloopers from every season on RU-vid if you haven't. The one where Charlie and Dennis are telling the detective about how they were "raped" is beyond hilarious

The look of anger that crossed Dennis's face for a second when the cop says "so he was only rxping you?" And he says "yep" 😂 the acting is so fxcking good on this show
The police department scene is just flat out brilliant!!!! I love how Charlie doesn't specifically say who was doing the crime but says yes to the question about the shoosh man being the criminal as well. Sorry I just love writing like this in the show! 😆
Charlie rapidly escalating the situation is just brilliant. The way it goes from "he was shushing our cries for help" to flat out "this guy was raping us" is brilliant, especially how Dennis is desperately trying to salvage his image in the situation.
I love how Dennis turns red after the "Dennis is a bastard man" question not because Charlie hates him but because Dennis knows the answer and really wants to say it.
The Christmas episode made me cry with laughter. I can't remember the last show that did that. Charlie attacking Santa, the whole mall being evacuated and then Charlie and Dennis walking back in to the bar not even talking about this city wide emergency. Just love you guys
Some of these are so freaking funny and I’ve never even see this show. I can only imagine how funny it must be to people who watched this show and loved the characters and their development.
At least for me, that is exactly the order of events. I knew the show for a few years just from regularly digging for IASIP clips on youtube. I could now watch the first two seasons. The show is a league of its own. I keep hearing the opinion the show had a slow start. The first season was funnier than most sitcoms ever managed in their best seasons. So if IASIP will get gradually better as they say, the later seasons must be above epic. What I especially admired in constrast to the clips is that I saw for the first time how perfect the casting of the support actors is. Not a single miscast. They're all top actors and often on the same level as the main cast. I could've binged it in about 6 hours as the episodes are only a bit more than 22mins including intro and outro. I didn't do that and watched only 2 or 3 episodes a day, as I didn't want it to be over so fast. Let's hope whatever network owns it, will go the same way as southpark or at least will license it to netflix.
It's the little shit like this that shows Frank is head-and-shoulders above everyone else on the show. They're all great comedic actors but Frank is a God.

The episode were dee want to be "sex and the city" with waitress and artimus and she trys to buy some expensive high-heeled shoes but dosen't have enough money and she attempts to run out the store wearing them to try and steal them but trips and head butts a car ! One of the funniest! Even seeing the screen a few times it still cracks me up im laughing right now as I recall it for this post !!
I watch this show every day and it never gets old! Dennis is the best though imo. So raw and horrible it’s almost unbelievable but those kinds of people do exist
Each and every one of them is just an outstanding character, its so real, natural and effortlessly funny, cause I know that half of these characters is really them. Dennis having this giant ego, loving himself, Mac always in need of love, Charlie just not giving a shit about what is considered 'normal' and Dee not having it with the stupidity of these guys sometimes. Dennis is most definitely an Aries, I can excuse his ego and arrogance, cause I know he is hilarious about it
The scene with Dennis telling Dee about displaying her dismembered body is cut too soon. It left out the best part: Dennis saying he's there to talk about a very dangerous and unstable man. 😂😂😂
I can only assume that they all have had extensive singing lessons throughout their lives lol I mean Charlie's Spider Song sounds like a fxcking angel singing it, but you can tell even the others have genuinely good singing voices, even when they're trying to sound ridiculous they still sound good 😂
