The man (Jack Cassidy) had an impeccable sense of sartorial elegance in addition to the immense talent as a consummate performer. What a great homage to an immensely talented actor. By far my favourite culprit. Cartier Tank, Le Coultre (later Jaeger-LeC.) and his flamminaire (lighter) DuPont. Always cracks me up how bad the singer was as the opening act for the great Santini. And that there were so many cooks and waiters running around frantically for such a small audience.

Great and obvious question Columbo asked..."why get rid of the body"? A professional contract killer couldn't be bothered with doing that.

Jack Cassidy was also a fine singer as well in his younger years. Check out this video of him singing the original version of the song that Eddie Fisher later made popular "Wish You Were Here": ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7boNC9Sbv34.html

The wink was epic! Columbo is so confident and rather enjoying his genius in that moment. Cassidy, as always was a wonderfully poised and arrogant man that resented Falk's touche' with such vitriol. It was really a fantastic moment of tension between high-caliber stars. Personally, the wink unnerved me a bit if you are viewing it from Cassidy's lens and pleased me a great deal because Columbo is on his best gotcha behavior.

Thank you for uploading the classic Columbo detective scenes. I noticed you made a video of the Best of Jack Cassidy and the Best of Robert Culp. Can you make a Best of Patrick McGoohan? Peter Falk and Patrick were really great friends and I enjoy seeing them on screen together.

I recently watched all 3 of the episodes with Jack Cassidy, and they all end the same way. The final gotcha scene all start with Jack entering a room, where police are waiting for him. They all know he did it and are waiting for their cue to arrest him. Must've been done on purpose. Would've been funny if, in the last episode Jack appeared in ("Now You See Him"), Santini said "I have a strange sense of Deja Vu."

Superb actor. Cassidy played the villain in three episodes of Columbo, with each character being utterly distinct from the other. It takes an actor of enormous skill to portray insincerity. In the hands of a less capable performer, it could come across as merely bad acting. If only Cassidy had been able to do more.
