They’re “settled” and “domestic” now, where as then they were both touring and doing what they love together and I think their relationship had blossomed to a phase where they were “high” on love and enthusiastic to be around each other constantly. 2017 their relationship really took off and I think 2018 was very stressful with disbandment discussions and growing to learn about eachother in a relationship, 2019 was their “golden year” so to speak, even bleeding into 2020. It hasn’t worn off, there’s just less opportunities to see that side due to no tours/more individual schedules, it’s a lot more private/mature/sweet to them now they’re in their late twenties, but just as loving as it’s always been. There’s a lot more personal growth that is happening now & growing together.

@@TheBestofJikook I agree. I say all this to Jikookers who question whether they are still doing well. I tell them that the biggest mistake they could make is to compare JiKook's very REAL relationship with "ships". A REAL relationship changes and evolves, as the couple in the relationship change and evolve. This is called growth. Anything that doesn't change, can't grow, meaning it has no longevity, or isn't based in reality. Hence, ships, which are NOT based on reality, and are just constructs of fan's imaginations about two celebs they like. Some of the most popular ships even in mainstream entertainment, are about celebrities who have NEVER even met each other. THAT right there should say EVERYTHING. These two's though, their connection and interactions are SO MUCH more intimate now. The intimacy and familiarity more pronounced because of how organic and honest and natural it is. If you've been in a loving ADULT relationship, especially living together, you know that there's a BIG difference between puppy love, or the honeymoon phase of a relationship, which is very showy and cringe because you're both so blinded by each other, you don't see ANYTHING else, and the ADULT couple that these two are NOW. THAT was the period they had before 2018, and after 2018. They basically restarted their honeymoon phase, when everything finally settled for them and the group. THEN, they started living together by 2020, and even though there hasn't been absolute confirmation that they started THEN or even that they DO live together, but I and other sensible Jikookers take it as obvious, because ain't no way JIKOOK would have made it through a 2 year period of intermittent lockdowns and isolation, without the other. ESPECIALLY when you consider the effervescent joyful honeymoon stage they were STILL in from this videos year. So in accordance with them OBVIOUSLY living together, at least finally completely constantly during the pandemic (because they MUST have stayed over at each other's places before then some of the time, thejr relationship, communication, connection, intimacy and familiarity and understanding of each other would get even better, to new heights, or they would have realised they sucked together, and broken up. THAT'S whst happened to a lot of couples during and after the pandemic. They either got married after, or broke up completely. This is because once you live with someone, romantically, there's no hiding, and nowhere to run off to when you feel ugh. You either figure it out, or realise it's not worth it, and end it. They are STILL always together, even off-camera, from the things they say, and the new details about personal things they know about each other. Meaning, they are part of the couples that thrived together during and after the lockdown. They have geown SO MUCH, it's ESPECIALLY crazy for me to see, when I've been watching them since the VERY beginning in early 2013, just before debut, when they were still Tom and Jerry-ing around each other. Seeing them now be in a healthy, happy, respectful, loving, generous and supportive relationship, with an affinity, joy, passion and spark that belies the many years they've known and BEEN together. The way you see how in awe they STILL are of each other, and the obvious attraction they still have between them after years of being together, is rare and admirable. What are the chances that two young Asian boys growing up in a heteronormative society, would join a boygroup, fall in love with each other, conquer the world together, and be brave enough to not be afraid to ACTUALLY take on being in a committed RELATIONSHIP in the midst of all that scrutiny and judgement. Because I don't think people understand ENOUGH, how incredibly significant and brave they are for going forward together and winning, where others have clearly either failed, or were too afraid (justifiably so) to put themselves and their careers on the line, to defy an entire countrt by being THEMSELVES and being TOGETHER. I say that because ppl don't talk about it, but in reality there must be hundreds if not thousands of LGBTQ+ Korean Entertainers, because statistically, it's just impossible to believe otherwise. Meaning they are not the first LGBTQ+ spectrum K-POP artists, and yet, in my 14 years of being a K-POP then Korean culture enthusiast, I have NOT come across another couple so OBVIOUSLY a couple, and BARELY hiding it, like JIKOOK do. THAT is saying A LOT! Imagine how many poor men and women are in relationships where they wish they were with another, of the same gender or other identity, but are married to unsuspecting? people who have no idea what's going on. If nothing else, these two should be commended for their bravery, and the fact that they have now become an unintentional symbol of hope and living the dream of love and success, for SO many LGBTQ+ young people, not just in their OWN country, but around THE WORLD. I think JK being a stubborn guy he took it forward to confess openly..only open minded fans so what he truly saying also others were just blinded by those seven boys' handsomeness. I being married the love of my life with so many barriers know this very well...once we grow that relationship evovle maturely to a phase we don't want others prying eyes to interfer our lives and way we express love to other is not childish but it is more romantic. I'm sure Jimin and JungKook are same..they are almost near 30s and being international celebrities with millions of fan girls daily telling "marry me" JiKook protects their bond from those fans.
