@de danging how so? Arenas had much more help yet he only won 1 total playoff series. Why? Cuz he shot more lol? As if Wall doesn’t have multiple 40 point double doubles in the playoffs. Wall DOeS NOT PLAY SELFISH ball. Whenever he WANTS or thinks he HaS to score a ton, he does. Like when he told Migos he was gonna drop 35 to close out the series in ATL in game 6 and he dropped 42 and 19 in the 4th. Only Jordan Wall and lebron have scored at least 40 points with at least 8 assists in a road game 6 or 7 win. Also Wall dropped 40/13/3/3 for the first time in NBA history a few games later lol. He also posted 52 points literally just cuz he was so pissed at the team for not buying in to their roles. Report came out that he did that to show them that if he wanted to, as the lone star of the team, he could stop being an asssit leader and just shoot all game and only focus on his scoring. Kind of like showing them how much HE sacrifices by Playing his role as the PG. well, the wiz went on a 17 game home winning steal after that and played their best ball. I guess I need to accept that casuals will never understand the context of things

@de danging we will see...and I mean if anyone follows the NBA through other peoples eyes and opinions then, well...this won’t matter...but a lot of people, Wall fans, talk about “his prime” as if that is clearly over...I understood that before we saw him return but...I think it’s more accurate to say “his 5 year all star run in DC when he was (semi) healthy, he was clearly a top 3...” or Wharver. I don’t think it’s accuTe to refer to his prime as if it is clearly over. I understand no one ever watches or cares about Wall no matter what, and since he is the exact opposite of a player who plays for stats to get popular, and since he never has LEGIT help, it kind of makes sense....but like honestly? So far this year he is proving that he is clearly still in his prime...the Dude has a minutes restriction and is playing 6 minutes less per game...only 30 total...not to mention 1/3 of his games played so far came when he was forced off ball with Harden who I saw and even Wall has admitted was legit trying to sabotage him after how well Wall played the night Haden sat out...and that was actually when Wall was getting 36-38 minutes a night...so I know this is a lot of caveats but that’s just how closely I follow this...so if we take away the Harden games...Wall is actually only averaging around 27/28 minutes per game, yet his numbers actually go UP! Because he was playing more but had the ball way less and legit was getting 10-14 shots a game and only half of the play making opportunities. It was so sad to see that I’m so glad Harden finally got exposed. Plus due to all of that Walls % got messed up as well. I mean imagine trying to adjust to playing off the ball with a brand new team and the guy you are playing with is intentionally trying to make you and the team look worse? So when he has the ball he isn’t looking to build chemistry or make plays for you, and when you have the ball he isn’t trying to help either? Have you seen the tape of harden standing at the half court line while wall runs a PnR and it therefore is a 4 on 5? Hahaha. Like wow wtf. Houston actually reported that the one group that looked good during that period was the second unit bein led by Wall. That’s when Wall had to try to do all of his damage So basically, if we ignore all of the Harden Bs and just look at Walls season as whole? It’s STILL been honestly REALLY good, considering the injury it’s been AMAZING. But if we look at Wall minus Harden? Per 36( which is exactly what he played in his prime) he’s at something like 27 and 9 on 40 percent from 3....seriously... Sorry for all of this blah blah blah. But Wall has been REALLY good despite all of the craziness going on around him. And SO professional. It’s line amazing honestly man. The stuff he has been throgig and the way people just pile it on him even more while he’s already down? And he still just keeps going and doesn’t even stutter? It’s just legit so amazing to me...I’m SO happy for him. I don’t get how he can be so strong. Not JuST the injury, not just covid, not just losing his beloved amazing mother, not JUST being scapegoated by his former team, lied to by them( an opinion exposed by DC media and associates and fans and Wall now himself) but he also has to try to adapt to a new team during covid just being traded on DEc 3 a few weeks before the season, and to a team that is in the middle of some crazy player drama, then that player intentionally behaves so poorly that he himself, huge ego and all, has even apologized..I mean the level of poor behavior that reports siad other stars around the league were super pissed off with Harden because of who his behavior was indirectly..or directly...impacting...and so Wall also has to deal with missing the start to the season, a seaosn he has waited 2 years for, because OTHERS didn’t follow covid proto( oh my gosh just writing it down makes it even crazier...) and THEN he somehow finally gets to play! And he averages 25 and 8 and 5 and goes 2-0 in his first games in 730+ days...( just like he had done in his first preseason games before Harden arrives!) but THEN that same toxic teammate comes back from the game he sat and literally starts intentionally trying to make the team and Walls life even Harden. It’s just...like WHAT!!?!)))? And through all of it Wall stays cool, says the right thing, doesn’t bitch anout only getting 10 shots or about Harden clearly sabotaging him, stays like a PRO, even when asked about Harden is real cool...then FINALLY when Harden feels as if his “master plan” is comeptled( obviously he had those two lakers games circled) he says all of that bull shit thinking eveyone was blind? And didn’t see what was really going on? And then FINALLY Wall was able to open up about all of this bullshit, and cousins, the coach, all of the shit I told Houston Harden fans was going on the whole time but they denied( they didn’t understand that SOME players and coaches are actually professionals...and won’t be honest if it’s bad for the team..) and THEN FINALlY, like 10 games into the year, Wall gets to lead Houston without Harden, but becusdr the team is being SO cautious with him, especially since he is now the lead guard with Harden gone, he ends up being held out for 4/5 games because he got his knee banged against the lakers?!! So AGAIN his chance to finally get a groove and get the real seaosn going is delayed...then he FINALlY gets to come back!!! And even though he has been playing somewhere between 20-28 minutes up until just this past week, he is still managing to shoot better from 3 than ever, score more than his career average, play good D, lead the team, continue to pass and try to set guys up even tho they are shooting something like 27 percent off his creation, but he doesn’t give up on them and go solo.... Dude it’s literally amazing what he is doing and he gets no love for it. And as we know before Wood and everyone else got hurt Wall was 7-0 without Harden, and 2 of those wins actuallt came without wood! And actually, Wall sat agaisnr OKC the night after he helped destroy them, and even with wood playing, minus Wall they end up losing by 20 to that same OKC, who didn’t even have their leading scoring. Plus we don’t even need to talk about what DC has been since Wall left. Think of DC pre Wall( guns..couldn’t beat Duke they siad on tv lol...19 wins?) then think, 3 years into Walls career, when he doesn’t even have legit coaching and stars around him, they simply just got rid of his most toxic teammates and got some professionals...and BaM, injuries and all, he leads them to the playoffs 4 times in 5 years, 5 years in a row at .500 or better, and their 3 best seasons since 1979. Then Wall gets hurt and can’t play for 1.65 years( plus this years start) and what are they? Comeptle trash. People can try to downplay it all they want. The facts still exist. The facts say that John Wall has won more with less recognized help( players coaches and execs) than ANY 5+ time all star in NBA history. And not only did he not have the help other stars have had, but he had the opposite! He had Ernie, ranked as the 12th worse GM ever, Scott Brooks who people say is the worst coach now, and even Scott was seen as a HUGE upgrade to the coach that Wall made his first 2 best wizards seasons since 1979 with: Randy Whitman. Do you know prior to coaching Wall he had the worst record in NBA history with at least 350 games coached??? Seriously!!! Seriously!!!
