just cleaned out my pixel 4a charger port and it was nowhere near as dirty as any of these yet it was completely unable to charge until I picked out a little clump of pocket lint with a toothpick. How the hell are people using their phones like this and how were they still charging???

I'm thinking how many people at my Job do not clean their Phones! I'm sure they don't though guessing how much debris is at my Job site cause my Phone's USB Port has been dirty for months and I thought it was a Hardware issue all of a sudden then I just realized the day before yesterday: "Dirt" - before my Cable would fall out of the Port or it will pop out when I was trying to be careful and not make it fall out - I would not get the click feel when I inserted my Cable into my Phone's USB Port - I DO NOW! turns out I had Pocket Lint inside the Port and not dirt - I place my Phone in my Pocket with the Port facing up. My Headphone Jack stopped detecting my Wired Headphones for a little bit but its fully working now and my Phone'e Port is CLEAN!! I do wipe down my Phone everyday - now my USB Port is getting checked as well.
