every year people tend to forget that #survivor is a social game. kenzie played an excellent social game and built strong relationships. she was hardly ever mentioned as a threat and wasn't really on anyone's radar for long at all. her win is well earned and deserved!
frrrrr she was definitely not under the radar and was the only name to not be considered to be eliminated everrrrr every episode she had control even on the bottom
Most people stay under the radar. But not everyone is able to control the game, and stay under the radar. It’s the controlling the game part that makes someone worthy of winning
@@ryanjohansson8950except Charlie’s alliance were mostly fostered from strategy whereas Kenzie’s were personal friendships (really close with Tiff, comforting Ben etc.)
@@thecamishere4344 Kenzie played a better game in the eyes of the jury- not yours. This aint American Idol. You have no say. And you weren’t on the island. They only showed you a percentage of the game. The winners in every seasons deserved their win, wether the viewers like it or not.
@@jlzivi5277 key saying: eyes of the jury whom are bitter, emotional and forget the point of survivor. this is about how you played, not who needs the money more and has no more sympathetic backstory. don't you dare compare this to American Idol ever. Charlie damn well deserved it. He too was a social player. Idgaf what you think, it isn't just a social game, if you aren't strategic how do u expect to reach a final?
@@thecamishere4344 OMG. Here we go again. Do you know that jury management is the most important key to win this game? HAHA. These players have emotions. You play with people, not with robots. That’s why this game is complicated. There is no RIGHT criteria to win. It is up to the jury at the end of the day who they think deserves it. This season, it was Kenzie. Maybe you have to watch Samoa. 😂😂
@jlzivi5277 and you basically act like Charlie doesn't know that ppl have emotions. he did. You're undermining his skillset and I don't have to let you off the hook if you're gonna overshadow him. who tf even needs a Jury? you are hiding behind the sympathy of other contestants and being self righteous. I see through you. So here YOU go again with your condescending self. Don't play with ppl like they're foolish. you guys are so blinded bcuz u like Kenzie. Charlie isn't an a-hole. I will be one tho if you keep being a smartass
I loved her! She deserved it. I was listening to a podcast from a former survivor. He essentially said “Of course people care about the strategy and challenges, but 9 times out of 10, people vote for the person they like the most.” Congrats Kenzie!!
@@thecamishere4344 are your Russel’s puppet? Survivor is played the same way since the first season. Social Politics is the name of this game. The jury has the final say no matter what. If you can’t convince the jury to vote for you, then that’s your demise. 🤷🏽
@@greenperson7947 I'll put on a show then just for you. Watch me get canceled by the snowflakes once I go streaking on the beach. unlike you, I don't pretend I'd be a mastermind at Survivor. I'm simply disagreeing with who won and you guys just use Kenzie's buttplug every time I defend Charlie
@@jlzivi5277 how would you even know I'm friends with Russell if you first come across me where we lack identity? Charlie was NOTHING like Russell point blank
Kenzie was at the bottom, but made people feel safe with her, so much that they shared their plans with her and relied on her vote to make it happen. She then used the trust she built from those votes to lead her own votes at the end of the game. And she wasn't scared to tell Q how he was wrong even in the final tribal when she needed his vote (and still got it). She is a modern day Sandra.
@@jaimelannister1797She initiated the blindside of Tiff, but before that, this edit didn’t show the full picture of how she essentially sent Hunter home. She didn’t initiate the plan but she made Hunter feel so comfortable and trust her enough to not play his idol. Had he felt any doubt or fear he would’ve played the idol and stayed
@@BushaZ tiff blindside wasn’t her move at all, she proposed it, backed out of it, and then got blindsided too. Hunter is her big move, but to me that’s not late game but more middle game, and she wasn’t on the bottom at the time like op suggested
She played an amazing social game. She built bonds quickly with everyone for just being down to earth. No matter what era it is, social game is still the deciding factor. Also, so many players said she’ll win since the prejury stage, but they still brought her closer to the end until she got there.
your opinion is way too narrow minded. By saying that you undercut Charlie and he had a social game too with a marginally better strategic game. Idc how nice she is, I'm not blinded
@@thecamishere4344 🤦🏽♂️ I know Charlie played a better strategic game, but Kenzie built stronger relationships throughout the season than him. There are so many strategic players who lost Survivor due to the better social player everyone knows this.
The one thing I notice about Kenzie is just how great of story teller she is about her own game. I get on tv we see how Charlie and Kenzie played. But if as a jury member, I can easily see now how Kenzie is able to sell her story in such a convincing way
Anyone who says Kenzie didnt deserve to win, doesnt understand the point of the game and what makes it unique. The best player doesn't always win, but the best of the final 3 always does. Because jury management is part of what makes Survivor so unique. The jury will always pick the right winner of the final 3 by very definition of how the game works. You have to vote people out, then turn around and ask them to reward you with a million dollars. The player that achieves this, is the rightful winner. That's the entire point of the show. You can be a great logical strategist, but if you cant get the votes in the end, it means you did something wrong.
except Charlie didn't do anything wrong. Q is a mess and not very good at the game and couldn't differentiate an idol from his own rectum, Tiffany is one of those ppl who reinforces negative stereotypes on her racial complexion, Venus is god awful socially and is a nuisance begrudgingly excused due to her outer (not inner) beauty, Tevin is harder to figure out than braille for the blind and Maria is a snake who doesn't understand accountability and is very bitter and snake-like disrespecting the game by not voting for the better overall player in Charlie. It's you that thinks you know it all buster
well it still doesn't make her the best from a skillset view so keep tap dancing and spinning like a ballerina. You ppl are ridiculously hypocritical. Charlie was nowhere near undeserving of a win. I don't have to back down if you're gonna undermine how he played
I absolutely love Kenzie so freaking much!!! She definitely deserves this win because she is one of the sweetest and most charismatic players to ever play Survivor which really helped her social game and it was heartwarming when she comforted Ben during his nighttime panic attacks. Also, after being an underdog on Yanu, she fought hard to make it to FTC and that plus her social game is why she won just like Natalie from Samoa and Michele from Kaoh Rong. She was also very memorable this season because she had so many cool looks in camp and at tribal council. With this amazing mermaid dragon taking this prize home to a Queen City, she has a great future to look forward to and she can live happily Ever Ever After just like Giselle. 💜💜💜💜💜🧜♀️🐉
exactly my point. You're very fixated on your love of Kenzie that you undermine Charlie as an overall player and forget how great he was. I get her win is fresh and recent and you wanna embrace it but let's be real, Charlie was the better player and I'm gonna argue till the end of the time if you think otherwise
@@thecamishere4344 I loved both Kenzie and Charlie this season. Despite the final result, I think they’re both winners because they both played great games and at least made the podium. 🥇🥈
If you look carefully on how Kenzie played you would see that she played a similar game as Sandra, she is without a doubt the QUEEN OF THE NEW ERA OF SURVIVOR👑
Seeing in retrospective the Kenzie's journey I doubled confirmed she played a great game; strong and amazing social player, strategy for sure in a mid level, the connections she made with everyone so deep and sincere, 2 Inmmunity wins, she survived almost all the tribal councils, won fire making callenge, so much charisma, and a final tribal council speech well spoken and with so much sincerity... Need more to accept she played a great game?
@@thecamishere4344 Wdym??? Of course it's about outside the game. The jury is voting for someone to win the million dollars, of course it's natural to ask what will be used with that money. No point in giving money to someone who won't use it well.
@@axh2083 it's not patty cake, it's Survivor. what's the point in playing well if you aren't gonna win? Someone who didn't work as hard nor played as well is getting rewarded bottom line
Kenzie showed us that building resumé and making big moves are not necessary, just make it to end and be likeable. After all, Survivor is a social experiment.
victoria legit so overrated, michele didnt even have the best socia game on her season she just sucked at strategy so they had to highlight her social game to validate her win lmao
Kenzie had some funny moments. Getting her hair caught on fire, throwing her ball too high up off the challenge and so many more slip ups I want in a short compilation
I forgot that Banu told the other two tribes that Kenzie was a mastermind and running yanu and everyone else on the other two tribes forgot about that when the merge hit & Kenzie started pulling them in as the little fairy she calls herself
I don’t know if this was intentional but when Kenzie called Charlie the “dependable dog” I wonder if that had an effect on how the jury saw him and helped in her win
@@dbliss741he wasn’t running anything at all he barely made any strategic moves he wad marias sidekick follower for the whole game and even after that didn’t make many moves
For anyone who didn’t watch that epidode/the season or just forgot, the reason they lost a third immunity challenge didn’t vote someone out is because Randen from the Nami tribe was medically evacuated in episode 3 for iirc not being able to feel his arm for several days (pun intended) but it ended up being nothing serious thankfully.
She owned up to not controlling the votes and the jury still voted for her to win What more do you want to complain about yall😂 that charlie deserves to win?
Charlie may have had his finger on the strategic pulse, but Kenzie had the slight edge just by being a good social player. Sometimes that’s all it takes to have the advantage over the strategic gamebots (not saying Charlie was one).
I actually love Kenzie. And she and Charlie were my top 2 favs this season. But i hate the argument of who “deserved to win” for any player over another. The argument should be that people should UNDERSTAND why she won over him. Maria’s vote aside, she got 4 other votes, so it was close for her too and people need to see that on her social power
For the 2nd season in a row strategic and charismatic woman wins in a 5 - 3 - 0 vote against a young guy, who I rooted for and a emotional and likeable guy, who despite not having a bad performance ended up with no votes.
Kenzie showed us that being on the surface nice doesn't always mean best player on their season. She's great as a person but you'd be kidding me and high as a kite to think Charlie wasn't the most deserving.
@tj.8924 so because I'll speak up in defense of him I'm all of a sudden hid relative, friend, or even him? get over yourselves. I'm never budging. No WAY if she sits next to him will I ever believe she deserves it more than him
@chickenchicken9072 yet I had a recently busy 5 days that didn't involve this. Just shows how arrogant and tunnel visioned you are. Shouldn't even have to explain this to ppl with room temperature IQ who will never get to know me personally. bunch of clowns I swear
