Kerala has incredible food in every district, but North Kerala- Malabar region is especially famous for its biriyanis and assorted snacks and sweets. Although I am from the Malabar region, I feel like I haven't eaten even half of all that is out there in my region. Also a note of appreciation to this creator- she is measured in her commentary and soothing to watch. I hope you have a good time in Kerala.

@aditi3374 yes Kerala has lot of food varieties but to explore them you shouldn't keep your sightseeing to limitation like only Munnar Thekkady Alleppey etc Kerala is very vast and those are not only places I have recommended Pooja @Golgappagirl to visit them but I guess she hasn't done that

You should try that biryani with that coconut chutney and papad . In between that pickle which Made from dates. Paragon and sagar are keeping the consistency from years . Also you need to try fry patari and duck from there. Chilli porotta from Tamilnadu. Also you missed avil milk ( rice flakes milk) and kerala samosa which not using potatao from beach .
There were a lot more evening snacks to try. You only had pazham nirachathu or stuffed banana. Other evening snacks to try are Unnakaya, Ela ada, Elanchi, mutta maala, chatti pathiri, erachi pathiri, chicken bun etc. You'll get these in Zains or in Bombay Hotel if you go at around 4pm. Don't go too late. They get over soon. In Calicut, you should also try other sea food like mussels, crabs and cockles.
Malabar is undoubtedly the food capital of Kerala, and Calicut is at the centre of this food culture. The variety of food at offer is simply uparalelled and unique.

Please visit the lunch houses in Calicut if you happen to visit the next time to name a few Amma mess , Ambika mess ,Amma hotel .. You should try Fish fry meals
