Dan Str It certainly wasn’t wasted here, he made the comeback of the century and achieved a point in his comeback season! Clearly the bravest man to set foot in a car by my standards, regardless of his letdown at Williams, I think he’s achieved a sensational comeback to Motorsport alone and for that I love him he’s easily a top 3 favorite driver of all time for me.
@@j_wide583 Well yeah obviously. They have significantly more traction and have 4wd. You can't really compare that to a 1000hp power house with rear wheel drive. The same reason why an F1 car does 100-200 faster than it does a 0-100.

@@piotrmalewski8178 Reflexes and distance judgement are much more important in rallying. Kubica himself said it: "in the WRC things happen quicker than in F1."

👍Normalnie wariat,ale taki pozytywny.Daje z siebie i maszyny wszystko,taką ma filozofię,albo jedziesz na limicie albo nie ścigaj się.Ja po wypadku jako pasażer przez rok miałem lęki,gdy auto bujało mi na zakrętach,potem mi przeszło,choć pamięć tego została do dziś,a ten po takim wypadku wsiada do WRC i lata w powietrzu,jakby robił to od zawsze i codziennie.Wariat,ale za to go kocham,bo daje siłę i odwagę i niezłomność.Nigdy nie mów, nigdy.On taki zawsze był i dalej taki jest.Forza Robert👍

Neat. I watched him drive the Nordschlief (spelling off) at the Nurburgring (spelling again) in Germany, in a BMW. He had just walked into one of those tourist places and asked for a car to drive. Some line employee who coaches ("normal") people how to drive that most difficult of tracks is having a normal day at work and the next moment he's driving with Kubica around the track. At the end, be clearly said that he drives this track in a racing series and coaches other drivers all the time but was actually scared and if it was anyone else but an F1 driver, he would have asked the driver to let him out of the car. LOL. What I found amazing is Kubica was driving at the edge of grip the entire lap of that very long, very difficult track, after only 15 laps. Amazing the talent on the F1 griid.
one of the saddest stories in modern f1 for sure. only 4 seasons in and headed for greatness and his career is thrown away in a pointless unrelated freak accident

@Retro Lover 2008 BMW Sauber was a good car. After the win they stopped developing it, trying to make a "championship-worthy 2009 car..." so BMW Sauber started being worse and worse in comparison to others. Robert still might be a championship-winning driver, we don't know that. What we do know is that Williams gave him a car that acted differently in every single session and it usually wasn't acting better on quali, was acting worse. :) I don't trust Williams at all, so I may be biased, but give him a car that is drivable and we will see if he's "lost it".

Szanuję Roberta za to, że nigdy nie liczyły się dla niego, polityka, zasady grupy, jakieś zalecenia teamu. Zawsze jechał na Maxa. Dla mnie nie ma znaczenia czy wydzwonił, nie wygrał. Za to najlepiej się na niego po prostu patrzy jak jedzie, bo to jest poezja, kwintesencja tego, dla czego się jeździ na rajdy, kibicuje i ogląda w tv. Robert Go.
Pomijając jego ograniczenia, nie ma w światku WRC tak spektakularnej osobowości, zarówno pod względem prędkości (przewyższającej możliwości samochodu) jak również rzeszy kibiców którzy przemierzali za nim rajdowe trasy, a jeszcze więcej kibicowało przed telewizorami. Niestety świat WRC stracił największą gwiazdę od czasu Colina, która potencjalnie mogła wyciągnąć te dyscyplinę z dołka."Dobra zmiana" zabrała Robertowi pieniądze, Polakom przyszłego mistrza, a światkowi WRC propagatora dyscypliny na miarę Colina...
