Machel Montano!!! He makes his country so proud of him!! His soca is the sweetest sound. With his collaborations he shows his true humility and deep respect for the art form. I’m from Trinidad and Tobago but am a Canadian citizen and with these tracks I just don’t ever seem to miss my homeland, and I have this man along with all his fellow soca musicians to thank for that! Machel (along with his friends in the industry) most certainly deserves the highest award possible for being such a great Ambassador of Trinidad and Tobago and the whole of the Caribbean. Machel in the same way that the Mighty Sparrow used to do, represents with everything he has got and he and all his fellow artistes need more more and more recognition and acknowledgment

@@Iloveyou-lz7rr Thanks i think that Machel should have a street named after him. He has contributed greatly to soca music. He should be the Ambassador of Soca and host parties now that he is retired. I think that he needs a innovative person like me on his team.

For Real!!!! I finally met him this 2017 in Port of Spain Trinidad Carnival on the road with Fantasy!! He is so down to earth, He just wanted to vibe and dance with his people, security allowed a bit of a break too!!! He is truly a lovely person!!!! I pushed my way through just for a Pic with him I was not giving up on that chance to meet him!!!! Lovely lovely warm person, warm vibe !!! He allowed me to kiss him on the cheek and told him how much we all love him!!!!!!!!!
