Mario isn’t a writer but got someone to write a him a book. Now he isn’t a comic but he got someone to write him jokes. The kid gets everything handed to him because people feel sorry for him.
Just like how Artie isn't a writer but miraculously has three books published under his name due to the tireless efforts of Anthony Bozza. Or how Norm MacDonald revived Artie's career by giving him roles in Dirty Work and his TV show because he felt sorry him after he got arrested and fired from MadTV. I guess Artie and Mario have a lot in common.

It's hilarious when Artie cuts Mario off and busts his balls but he shouldn't have done it so frequently. It's also funny when Mario talks.. Artie should've interrupted less rapidly. I remember that annoyed me when I listened to these episodes when they where new.
Mario paid someone to write him an act. Once again bypassing the work that goes into anything. Just like his book. Someone wrote that for him and he gets to call himself an author. Now he calls himself a stand up comic when he didnt write the jokes. People feel sorry for him because of his condition so he gets everything handed to his little ungrateful ass.
you know for all the shit jokes mario got blasted for he could have shot right back with him blowing his disgusting nose (thats gonna fall off in 2 years) every second as a punchline.
