I just got a warning it's not right ;-) woke joke, can't stand these people who tell me what I should enjoy and what is freaking do not suit their agenda
Franky Four Fingers, Boris The Blade, Sweet Tooth Tony, Brick Top, Avi, Vinnie, Sol, Tyrone.. All the characters and the casts in this movie is absolute gold, Guy Ritchie's finest!
Lock stock was better I thought. It was more effortless, big Chris for example was such a realistic character whereas bullet tooth Tony was very over the top. Great films mind.
Brad delivers. The best perfectly performed indecipherable jibberish in movie history. Even if we couldn't understand we understood. All the right nuance and inflection. Simply brilliant.
First few times I seen this I couldn't understand him. Now years later I'm pretty sure I've sure I've got every word! Which is a shock to me. I honestly thought it was jibberish!
@@XHitsugaX this is definitely his best role. I love him in this non-tough guy act. Thats before he because the transporter lol and now that's all he plays. Or whatever his first transporteresk movie was
He's a great comic performer, it's a shame he's stuck with a load of generic action films where he's cast as a stoic badass. A little bit of humour wouldn't go amiss. I think that's why the Crank films and Spy are so refreshing.
@@mrpk188 ok... my comment still stands... its decent but far from perfect... im from NYC but all my family is irish... to be fair it's one of the hardest accents to do and not many people have done it perfectly on screen
Fabulous acting performance. Made me rethink Brad Pit totally. Went from poster boy, to my god the guy can really act. Deffinatly one of my favourite performances of all time. Funny, compelling, genuine. FIVE STARS ***** Micky should have a film all to himself.
@@brooklynboogie1405 Awwww... Mickey´s mom is such a gullible sweetheart! She doesn´t think there is any murdering done around there, and doesn´t think they are thieves! Bless her heart, ignorance is bliss! :)
@@Biden_is_demented I think when she spoke about murdering it was placed in the script as an indirect reference to her eventual fate, because she ends up getting murdered
@@andrewshydlowsky3956 you are correct regarding the last fight scene. Oasis' song is used, i am familiar. Im referencing the first fight scene when the boys meet Mickey and the Pikeys for the 1st time. I believe its in a barn. They fight for a caravan. Check it out. Song is called Golden Brown by the Stranglers. Enjoy.
@@andrewshydlowsky3956 right on man, no worries. I will! Steven Graham is powerful. This is England and the series features him heavy. Its awesome. I heard the Irishman is good as well. Happy Holidays man!
@@benmarino1913 Well Sir as a Canadian I can appreciate all the Music, Actors and Art the Uk produces. Tom Hardy, Mr. Graham, Led Zepplin, Genesis, and even back as far as Richard Burton , Benny Hill, and of Course the Beatles and Stones are all this old goats favorites! Lol.
Brad Pitt was amazing in Snatch. I tried using the closed caption to understand but then turned it off again. Some directors have a gratuitously gimmicky style that doesn't add a thing whatsoever to a movie but Guy Ritchie's direction was original and tight and every scene kept you riveted, plus all the unforgettable characters. Great movie.
But it’s RU-vid and they cater to all these wusses so often that the wusses have been emboldened and seek to censor what hurts their feelings. However I seriously don’t understand what the offense was over.
The following content has been identified by the RU-vid community as inappropriate or offensive to some audiences. Viewer discretion is advised wtf! lol
I think they’re trying to be PC because of the portrayal of Gypsies who are recognised as they’re own race. So on 2020 someone might think it’s racist and be offended. Which I agree is ridiculous
@@ituned Yeah but Irish Travellers or British gypsies are not same as the real gypsies in Europe. The issue here is that apparently the word Pikey is offensive.
@R.C. Collins Harrison Ford did another IRA film as well as that one. Brad Pitt played a member of the IRA from Belfast who was hiding out in America. Devil's Own it's called. The Patriot Game is the one you're thinking about
Still my favourite movie of all time I think! Brad Pitt was just amazing in this! Can't imagine what male performance this will have lost to in the oscars that year. Was it even nominated?
The director mentioned (on the DVD extra, I think) that Pitt was an absolute pro no matter how cold the water was (in the knockout sequence), the bradster just kept going
After performances like these, I felt his acting in once upon a time in Hollywood so normal that I was wondering why they gave him an golden globe. This movie should have earned him one not OUATIH
Well i disagree, he created that character, biggest then life and cool as fuck. Definitely one of the coolest characters in Tarantino movies, now he didn't used flashy acting skills and melodramatic moves, but he was more subtle in portraying Cliff Booth. But nonetheless, he made a legendary role for the ages.
when i saw this film for the first time I honestly had no idea that it was Brad Pitt until i saw his name in the credits, an excellent performance and one that often goes unrecognised
CineClips thanks for posting these highlights! My fave line is at 3:11, but the entire movie is solid gold. Pitt didn't just act like the character, he became the character. For me it is the best acting of his career, so far.
Mickey O'Neil is Brad Pitt's defining role. Also Jason Statham, after he kicked off his swimming pants and before Holywood turned him into a machiavellian, brooding martial arts kick boxing super(anti)hero
Everything came together here like the perfect storm, Brad Pitt’s Mickey is perfection. The writing, acting, directing, music is inspired. At the risk of being a cliché… They don’t make em like this anymore 👌🏻
