He’s a dribbler who knows the aim of the game. He doesn’t just beat players on the wing, he knows when to pass back, when to try for the killer pass, when to go to the by line for a cross, when to cut in and shoot. He dribbles but always with the purpose to get a goal for the team, either through a teammate or by himself.
There are many wingers that are tricky and can create chances like Mitoma, but what seperates him from the rest is his high football IQ. He consistently makes the right decisions, knows when to slow down or accelerate the play based on where his team is setup, very efficient with his dribbles always trying to create space for a lay off. I'll be extremely surprised if he doesn't get a transfer to an UCL level club within the next 2 years.
Hé already Said in an interview that thèse has nothing to do with how hé dribbles hé even said it's been really exaggerated and wants people to forger it
Mitoma is not only a great dribbler but also a great playmaker. He knows when to dribble or pass, slowdown or accelerate, pass back or foward. He is the best dribbler in the league
@@harrisonjr.8892 agree he would fit city or arsenal really well. but arsenal already have martinelli and will get mudryk so city would be the best option for him
The point to notice is that Mitoma is not necessarily on the finishing end of a play. He's the point at which the attack originates. A consummate team player who is only going to get better as he faces more top-notch opposition (He has only been playing as a pro for four years because he went to university first). Brighton have struck gold with this one.
Thanks, Briton for spotlighting Mitoma. He is now one of the most sensational Japanese football players and showing his ability in the World Cup game as we won the great team, Germany. We would like to respect and appreciate the contribution of the UK, Germany and other European countries to the development of Japanese football!!
His ball controlling skill at his top pace is very impressive, and what’s more impressive is that there’s no waste movement when he dribbles. When he gets the ball, he simply carries the ball vertically without doing any fancy skill and chooses the best option that he can find. His great pace, agility, ball control skill, balance, and spacial awareness allow him to do so. He’s already very talented and prospective but if he improves his finishing and shooting ability, then he will have a chance to be a world-class player. So exited to see him how he’ll perform next 4 years. What a gem!
I can’t wait to see him back in the shirt, what a player we have. My favourite player, not just in the Albion shirt, for a long time because he’s so exciting but such a clever player too.
He wrote his college dissertation on how his dribbling can beat a defender in a 1v1 on the wing. So he practiced this A LOT. One of his college professors was the 110 meter Japanese record holder who he seeked out to improve his speed/agility.
I just love ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ Kaoru Mitoma watched Japan in the world cup because of him . I am now going to go and cry 😢 😭 because I am a Liverpool fan but great goal .
Is it just me or is this guy really good? I don't know as much about football/soccer as you all but watching him play for Japan and on Brighton, he seems extremely underrated to me.
@@ant4613 well. to me hes not an upgrade to what arsenal already has. maybe for like 8 millions or so to keep on the bench to give martinelli och saka a breather and to play in cup games. but world class like some says. nah. and to get him instead of mudryk is just saddening. i hope he stays at brighton. arsenal could do better. but he is nota bad player. just not good enough for arsenals first team.
Mitoma has been an absolute delight to watch this season in the prem. Has that ineffable way to, ahem, consistently create something out of nothing. Pure delight to watch. As a Gooner, I laud what the Albion have been up to. Mitoma is a gem. Keep him!
Some are saying that his thesis of college was about how's his dribble works. He analyses why it's so effective and no wonder he's been a very marvellous dribble at the time.
Mitoma might be the next big Asian in EPL. I love to see it too. So that younger generations will be inspired, and surpass him. Many of them on top of that.
It's amazing how Brighton find replacements for their star players several months before they actually leave the club. They signed Caicedo 18 months before selling Bissouma which give him the time required to bed in and learn the system. And now with Mitoma they have a real gem on their hands, slotting perfectly into the role vacated by Trossard if another club comes in with a big offer for him next summer. Surely one of the best run clubs in the world.
The way mitoma plays, OMG!!...he need more appreciate from his teammates..he could be a revolutionary if his team utlise him more..such an underrated player...best wishes..
