the fact that Olwen becomes just a proxy by which Murph & Jake talk about Fall Out Boy's song writing process is one of my favorite bits in the entire show. The cherry on top of that sundae is his exact choice of those 3 movies - edward scissorhands, nightmare before christmas, & donnie darko. the exact brand of a certain kind of guy in the early/mid 2000s. chef's kiss.
I also love that the Fall Out Boy references came back in the most recent episode, this time with Hot Topic and Spencer's Gifts (together as they should be).
