Some tips from me: take a walk along Akerselva, from Hønse-Lovisas hus down to the Munch-museum. And visit four wonderful sculpture parks: Ekebergparken - Klosterenga park - and in some distance from the city: Bærum verk and Kistefoss.
Such a beautiful city! We had a local guide who lives in Oslo and another guide just in Vigeland Park and to take us on a “city hike” along the river. Loved going in the library and the opera house. We also went to the Holmenkollen, the Fortress, and the Resistance Museum was very moving, just amazing. We used the blue tram and enjoyed a cruise around the city. We spent three days there but could have easily spent several more. Didn’t get to the Parliament building, the Oslo tree, city hall or Nobel Peace center. I hated that the Viking ship museum was closed for renovations. I’m sure it’s amazing at Christmas time. Excellent video!
Great video, thank you! My husband and I enjoyed a fabulous three days in Oslo last November. We had a wonderful time at The National Museum and enjoyed a delicious lunch there too. Loved The Munch museum and the views from there of the city. Enjoyed exploring the waterfront and getting up early to see the sunrise and enjoy a floating sauna in the harbour. I hope to return and see more of the amazing places in your video, loved Oslo ☺

Great video, David! Before the video I was certain about wanting to see 3 or 4 places in Oslo. Now I want to see every place in your video. I'll be recommending Oslo put you on its payroll. Nice work!
Thank you so much for this really great insight into Oslo.I will be visiting Oslo Dec 1-4 and am so looking forward to experiencing as much as possible in the time that I have there.Greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪 😊
You’re very welcome! Have a great time. I also have a video about Christmas in Oslo that you might find useful: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-01-5S5l4snI.html Thanks for watching! 🙌
What an excellent guide to Oslo! I’m planning (hoping) to visit Norway next summer and have planned six days in Oslo and now see that my days will be full with all the sights. I was not familiar with the National Museum and will do some research on that site. I love all of your Norway videos.
Thank you so much! Have a fantastic time, yes there is definitely a lot to do for six days, although I do recommend a lazy day on one of the islands too. Thanks for watching! 🙌
Best to start your Journey at the bottom of "the river" aka "Akerselva" (Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel) and all the way up to the start of the river, if you are in good shape :D You will experience so much more
Depends what you mean by “best”! The weather is of course “best” in the summer but Oslo gets crowded and expensive then. Many Norwegians would say the cold, clear days of spring are the best. It all depends :) thanks for watching 🙌
Hey Guys! I just want to let you know that Jesus loves you so much, that He is coming soon, and that He will bring all those who truly trust Him to safety in heaven. He is our Lord and Savior. He cares for us and wants us all to be safe. Let's get prepared before He comes. Jesus loves us❤❤❤
