Note to random passers by: Just because someone has their head covered does not automatically mean they are: Muslim (this is not a dig against Muslim people, just there seem to be a lot of people under the impression that headscarf = Islam exclusively. Incorrect) Fighting cancer Wearing the headcovering against their will Willing to talk to you. Mind your own damn business.
@@Piper_McLean761 no one has to even have to see them do it to easily tell they have a grudge against us. 50% of their videos insult and mock our Traditions, Use Holy outfits in an inappropriate manner, and even say we “stole holidays” This isnt new. they have been doing this for years, and have even executed Christians in the antiquity and middle ages. Conclusion: Paganism is disgusting and should not be accepted, whatsoever.
I'm a passing trans dude and I wear two different veiling styles: one is pretty much identical to the style at 2:00, and the other is a male himaeton style :)
As a trans man, I usually wear beanies or bandanas when I veil. Wearing a short haircut is very masculine. However, you can wear your hair up in a manbun or wear dreads. I hope this helped!!!! Have a good day!!!! Bye bye
@@ReplyToMeIfUrRetarded Aphrodite* actually, even if you don't like that people worship or follow them doesn't mean you can erase them from history (although I suppose that's never stopped Christians before), and historically, Aphrodite was a Greek goddess who is documented in many written and physical works.
As a christian who practices veiling, (my favorite is with a scarf or full on hijab) I absolutely loved this video! My Muslim friends and I always compliment each others hijabs and headcoverings, and I love seeing pagans practice their unique practices as well! We really aren't that different as society would like us to believe! ❤
As a pagan witch who’s also an empath and I little neurodivergent this honestly helped sm. I’ve been wanting to veil more but am honestly scared ppl are going to judge me and think I’m Muslim but for now I just use a bandanna. Thank you for this video, blessed be!
May I recommend you do a wholesome edition compilation? Witchtok can be a Debbie Downer sometimes with curses and spooky information, so it’d be nice to see videos where it’s just happiness! Think witches and their familiars, sweet deity videos, people doing happy spells, people raising their vibrations, people dancing… /nf
i love the people who say white people cant veil because i love to see them try and bs why nuns and veiling a "different thing" and completely ignoring that most cultures have an equivalent (e.g. it was and i believe still is common in grease)
I grew up catholic seeing white women veil all the time, so it always made me laugh when people said that. I just learned recently about pagan veiling, and I think it’s really cool, and from a protection standpoint, a good idea. Maybe I’ll charge my beanies and hats and give it a try.
Always remember you are beautiful and it's your choice and your craft. I veil when needed but it is not required for my practice. I love us veiled or not ❤
i’m Christian (catholic if you want to get very specific) but I have Muslim and piggy and friends and my favorite thing ever to do is to share little veiling tips and places to find pins and magnets. I'm also really hoping to veil full-time someday. God willing. Anyhow, this was really fun to watch. Blessings to you and your loved ones ❤
..."your mobility aids ruin your look". ... ... No. I can not believe a human on planet Earth actually said that out loud to another human. I'm stun locked.
I hadn't heard of pagan veiling, I thought I was just weird. I sometimes get asked if I'm muslim because I veil/cover my hair mostly and dress super modestly!
I’m not entirely sure what you’re asking. Like, are you asking if veiling is strictly an Islamic practice? Because there are many different reasons and religions that might bring a person to veiling :)
@YourWitchyCousinTikTokComps I know Islamic culture (im Muslim) and yes its strictly forbidden for us going out without veiling or hijab... But I'm asking that why pagan community also wear veil .?
@@thvsohaji Because veils were used in many many many religions and cultures across the world and are used in many still today, veils are not muslim-specific thing
@@thvsohaji first off, thank you so much for being so respectful :), and to answer your question, the reasons vary a lot from individual to individual. I veil because I like to have a physical reason and embodiment of my practice, and it helps me feel like I am protected from any harm wished my way. I hope this answered you question :)
@@thvsohaji there are many reasons that pagans wear veils! Some wear them for modesty, some in devotion to the gods, some to protect their own energy, etc.
I'm back on the vailing tick tock after a long time. I just wanted to share somewhere as to why. I went to a Ren faire as a vendor recently and it gave me back my spirit which I lost a long time ago.
I love the fact they are so loyal. I have deity’s that I look up too who are from different beliefs. So are my beliefs they combined my own beliefs and of other religions as well.
i’m not(?) pagan and i didn’t read the title, so i got like 80% of the way through the video before realising that it’s not just a coincidence that all of these were about veils
ive been having a break from the online pagan community for a bit now, so could someone explain why some people are saying that white people shouldn't veil? edit: spelling
Because sometimes random people come up with "it's appropriation", even tho veiling is something that has been done and is done by many different cultures
I need more like mentally I need more please as a veiling pagan please I beg of you I need more (also love your content and everything you do on youtube)
i personally only veil in my home. i veil to maintain focus when i need to clean or when i do homework but also to protect myself when using fire in rituals.
