It was fun to be able to do this again! Of course, since this is the second time around, I couldn't just do it normally so I had to add a few of my own extra edits like (1:22:24) and (1:41:24) because why not? They're funny.
There’s something about DeKiller failing to come up with a good alias, repeatedly, with the following ’Fuck!’ taking longer each time he fails, that just gets me.
Here is a fun one: So in the case of the Nickel Samurai, they talk about how that show targets certain female viewership groups. As silly as this sounds, that is actually a thing in japan. Actors for super hero shows (called "Tokusatsu" shows) are in fact cast primarily to attract the attention of the mothers of the children watching the show. yes, seriously. The idea is that kids watch the show for the action while the mothers and single women do it to watch the actors. This is done for shows like Super Sentai (The show from whcih Power rangers gets its action scenes from), Kamen Rider (Japans most successful super hero, basically japans answer to Spider-Man) and even Ultraman, the original Japanese super hero, who also was the inspiration behind the steel samurai. That entire case is basically the team reacting to the return of the Kamen Rider series, which just had made its return to TV around the time Ace Atthorney originally came out (the show was on a 10 year hiatus and started again in 1999 shortly after its original creator, Shotaro ishimori, had passed away). also, the Jamin Ninja is a callback to 2 different Tokusatsu shows: The Guitar is a callback to "Jinzo Ningen Kikaida" ("Artifical Human Kikaida") where the lead character carried a red guitar around, and the ninja aspect comes from "Henshin Ninja Jiraya" ("Transforming Ninja Jiraya"), a late 80ies Tokusatsu series where the lead character was played by a legiot descendant of a ninja clan.
So many memorable moments but the origin of Swedish guy has to be the most iconic. Also the Zwes fake out and Prij getting excited that the game actually cares about the rules of evidence for once. Thanks to WAA for putting this together and for the fun footnotes!
Wright Anything Agency did a great job picking these. The part towards the end with Santa talking about beating up De Killer and the Judge berating Phoenix for showing his badge back to back had me wheezing so hard.
I love this game, and I loved watching your playthrough of it. From the creation of Fak to the channeling chamber, There's some truly iconic bits in here.
I think my favorite part is at the end of each game, he doesn't know that you have to let go of the button for your voice command to register, so he just keeps making extended noises since he keeps holding it down.
1:30:37 The biggest dumbus 2:58:29 Edgeworth's pronunciation of case was a great joke 😂 3:08:19 De Killer trying to come up with an alias. Some great names lol
I'm so hype for this, I was actually kinda sad when these stopped after the first game lol. Just showed my friend the originals like a week ago as an intro to your channel and they loved them
Unrelated to video - I watch your videos during the day, but they also help me sleep at night. For some reason, your videos are really comforting to me. You guys seem like lovely, kind people. I just wanted to say a quick thanks for making these videos. They really make my day.
Which moment/bit was your favorite? Let us know in the comments! And thanks so much again to the Wright Anything Agency for putting this compilation together! Head to their channel and throw them a sub: ru-vid.com/show-UCbTBP-1DOAIgXrldZuZO7kg
3:36:17 -ish when wes sounds incredibly like nezumi from the aj playthrough for only 2 seconds when and weve never seen wes and nezumi in the same room had me losing my mind. theres no way theyre alter egos or any conspiracy like that but the idea of one of the hosts disguising as a different host would be a good stream bit i think. just doing an entire premiere where prij and zak or whoever pretend to be one another and are dubbing over eachother lip syncing
@@davidrook9587 the others might take a while, but I was smart with Apollo justice and started making it as we went along, so it should come out way faster!
Not gonna lie, when they said that Jesus was the founder of the Kurain channelling technique, I thought of 2 things: 1. The anime blooper where they ask help from The Lord and Savior Jesus Christ 2. What if in this universe Jesus came back to life because he was channelled and then he left again?
#blameZak. I know he made a few changes after I sent it to him. There's no way I would have overlooked such an obnoxious hiccup. Shh....don't tell him 😅
When you suggested trial by combat rules for court cases, my mind flipped through them, and thought of how they would do against an average lawyer. SLIGHT SPOILERS THROUGH AA6 BELOW Obviously Payne would lose 90% of his fights Edgeworth could probably hold his own, he looks pretty buff in the games, I'm sure he's taken some self defense classes, but if he goes up against an experienced fighter, it would be a challenge. Von Karma (Manfred) also looks pretty buff, and carries around a taser, but he's also old and uses a cane. Von Karma (Franziska, the better one) has a long range weapon, likely fast and has good reflexes, but she is small, could probably be overpowered if someone got close. Godot looks pretty strong, and could scald someone with hot coffee, but if he has the mask ripped off, it's probably over as he can't see. Klavier (sadly) does not keep a weapon on him (that we know of :D) but is fast and has good stamina (performer) and strong: *canonically can walk while carrying the judge!* I would say Blackquill and Sahdmadhi are the most dangerous: Simon is *built*, very strong and 6'2,. I'm sure he has fighting experience and strength from being in jail. He also has a *freaking sword* that he is very skilled in using. Nahyuta has fighting experience (hERITAGE), accuracy with throwing weapons, aaannnd *magic powers* (He has some kind of control over wind? Also those beads can constrict around people's bodies, he could move them around someone's neck and it's game over. I'm sorry I took this one comment from the video and *ran* with it (my brain wouldn't stop lol)
Yes! Sorry it’s in progress, but will probably take a while. As the comment before mentioned: I finally got smart with Apollo Justice and started making the “best of” video as we went along instead of waiting until we finished and had to have someone rewatch and compile it all. 😅
