im so glad i watched this when i was younger as well as the other ads from france from 2010 and 2012. when i heard that these mascots were criticised for being frightening in america, i thought to myself... i don't know what they're talking about, i had found nothing wrong or scary about them. shame that they died out in popularity and were never seen ever again on tv and ever again.
Those commercials are very funny. they use pretty good animation and are actually quite entertaining. I can't even count how many times my niece and nephew have watched them they love them so much.
As a kid I accidentally left a happy meal box on our dining room table that had this mascot’s face on it and to get to the bathroom I had to walk through the kitchen and yeah, nothing is more terrifying than getting up to use the bathroom and seeing this thing staring at you in the dark at 2 am
