Best of Reggie (Henry Stickmin) 

Most people don't realize that the only reason Reggie betrayed Henry in FTC, is because he had no respect for Henry. Notice how he reacts when Ellie was left behind by Henry. He goes on about Honor and Dignity. And notice how he reacted when you rejoin the tophats with Ellie. Henry earns his respect by defending the clan, and putting his life on the line. Reggie isn't entirely a backstabbing douche, you just have to earn his respect.

Reginald, he really shows his pride of being a toppat leader willing to betray Henry whenever he has the chance to do it

I agree with Reg in the betrayed ending. Imagine being the leader of the most dangerous clan in the world and your leadership gets taken by a random guy. But Reg doesn't care about his ego that much. He cares about the toppat clan. Because he knew that Henry wouldn't lead as good as him. so he took the opportunity to take the leadership again in the betrayed ending. But as you see in the Toppat 4 life and Toppat king ending. Reginald sees that Henry doesn't just care about the money and honor. but the clan as well. So Reginald doesn't betray Henry because he knows that he will keep the clan up and lead even better than he will. If he really wanted the leadership just for himself. He could just kill Henry when he arrived with the tank in the T4L ending or dropped him in the TK ending. But as he says "But why would i do that? I saw you out there, you put yourself in the line to save the toppat clan. I couldn't think of a better person to lead us." So yeah Altough I'm not sure about his word in the Toppat Civil warfare ending. "Have you no honor? no dignity?!" If it was him taking opportunity to take the clan back or that he actually cares about it I think Reg is a pretty good person minding his own business. edit: (sorry for the paragraph)

i just found out that Reggie is EXTREMELY strong. if you dont know, Henry weighs 110 pounds. for comparison, Ellie cant even lift Henry with both of her hands, while Reggie can hold Henry with no signs of weakness and can even say his monolog. tl;dr Reggie can lift Henry ( who is 110 pounds) without breaking a sweat.

Here's Reginald's thought process for The Betrayed: Henry barges into the airship to capture me, but once I surrender he suddenly becomes the chief? And now he wants us to break him out of a complex? He shouldn't be the leader if he's this weak. Though, I definitely feel like Reginald dethroned Henry in TCW more because he's petty.

Why does everyone say Reginald is hypocritical? Reggie cares most about the wellbeing of the Toppat Clan. He betrays Henry because the clan would probably go to shit, Henry just showed up one day and forced Reginald to hand over the clan. He saves Henry in Toppat King because Henry actually proves himself a selfless leader who risked being captured by the government just to get Ellie and RHM in the rocket. He literally says “I saw you out there,” after he saves Henry. Henry did nothing after he took over the clan, besides learn about their Orbital Station plan, before getting apprehended by The Wall. Reginald wouldn’t see any reason why Henry would be more fit to lead in the Betrayed route, since Henry did jack shit, and in TCW Henry outright confirms that he’s manipulative and selfish, leaving Ellie in The Wall, so of course he would try to usurp Henry. A good leader is better than a bad leader, numbnuts.

Ah yes, Reginald Copperbottom, a choice dependent character. He sees people for what they have done, and if the good outweighs the bad, they earn his respect. However if it goes the other way round, expect a sudden betrayal out of the blue.

Henry quickly and used mosquito mode so he can have less chance of death and the only way he can survive and if he, barrel rolls, go too fast, or dose not do anything in any way then the conclusion is that he will die so then he in the story -line used mosquito power to avoid dying and then crashes in to the ship and then a person said... " *Oh* "

Despite Reginald being a very deceptive backstabber, using rallies and advantages over direct combat to get his ways, he isn't exactly bad. In fact he's very loyal if you earn his respect. In ItA all you did was spare him (which he never engaged in direct combat anyways), but you technically just barged in and took control. Reginald isn't only desiring the leadership for himself, he believes it's in the best interest of the clan: In Toppat 4 Life and Toppat King (this one especially since he had an easy chance to kill you), you did earn his respect, and you convinced him you were a better fit for the leadership. He cares about the clan's future as a whole and not just himself ("the future of the Toppat clan looks bright with you as our leader", "you put yourself on the line to save the Toppat clan. You've truly earned my respect, I can't think of a better person to lead us"). If he was as deceptive and dishonorable as we thought, why didn't he kill Henry in Toppat King? Why didn't he just dispose of him, since they got what they wanted and the rocket launched, what was the use of Henry? He had a great chance to become leader and no one would know what happened, but he didn't because he was grateful to Henry and you did gain his respect. In the 5th game, all we saw of him was a traitorous snake side, which is understandable since he had such a minor role, and I think people got a bad perception of him then which they carried to CtM. But as CtM came out, it's more visible he has more personality to him and that was just a unique scenario.

I somewhat like the notions of Reggie. He's really a great guy, whether he's on your side or not. He goes on about the loyalty and respect for the Toppat clan, which explains the different reactions in the game. For real though, who would hate this guy?
