Honestly think it would have been better if it wasn’t literally 1 episode later (2 if you ignore the continuity error of ‘it was them’ being episode 5 when that episode was crashhopper’s debut who appeared in ‘so long, and thanks for all the smoothies’)

While I feel bad for Belicus and Serena, I also understand Ben's place, as they have threatened to trap Ben as Alien X until he catches up to their backlog, which ranges in the hundreds of thousands. Still some of the best characters in the show despite their limited screen time.

Being a genetic code inside a watch size machine would feel pretty lonely

He’s cool, but having him replace Gwen and Kevin altogether was too bold of a move. It worked when Kevin replaced Grandpa Max for Alien Force and Ultimate Alien, but this, nah.

@@stephenking5852 Eh, to each their own, I guess. For me, Rook felt like a nice step forward for Ben, and a breath of fresh air for the series. As much as I love the UAF trio, I feel like Rook and Ben working together is a nice change of pace for the show in general, as it allows more room for writers to try new things. I don't have the same sense of 'replacement' when I think of Rook, nor do I get that feeling with Kevin in AF 'replacing' Max. It's just the story moving forward, and the writers wanting to play with new characters and personalities. They're still in the show either way, just not as prominent.

@@GoldPrince2468 It showed up once in omniverse but after that he probably sold it or gave it to his parents since they always rode on rooks proto truck

@@GoldPrince2468 He built the Tenn Speed as Jury Rigg. Motorcycles tend to get places quicker than cars, since they can avoid traffic easier and usually accelerate faster. I do love the design of his car, but the Tenn Speed is a great vehicle for Ben as well.

I feel like we'd have a lot more stories like this if more people were able to get over the "wall" that the art style change became. The series has so much good stuff to add to the story of Ben 10 overall that it's just. A massive shame that it got as much backlash as it did for just looking different :/

TBH I was just glad to see a new Ben 10 show again. Though I would like to see a Ben 10,000 show in the classic timeline.

That would actually be a better representative for Ben10 than Ben himself in a realistic sense with the moveset and production. But Kevin Leven and Gwen would be good too.
