Road traffic in Russia is fascinating. Rules seem to be non-binding recommendations, direction indicators and brake pedals are optional accessories, speed limits seem to be non-existent and wheel nuts are in short supply. Regardless of the weather, vehicles suddenly stand sideways or come somewhere from the botany or oncoming traffic. I doesn't even begin to understand it.

Depends on what part of Canada. I grew up in Toronto and yeah people drive like they will feel validated if they can kill someone on their commute. Currently, I live in Ukraine. In Vinnytsia, it's a lot like Toronto, but in Ternopil, where I have relatives, everyone is so chill and polite on the roads and cars always stop for pedestrians. A huge difference in driving culture, just 3 hours drive away. I never lived elsewhere in Canada, so it's just an assumption it must be different than Toronto. @@renaissance2005

Просто у нас не государство интегрирует народ , а народ государство . Если русские решили, что им где-то удобно переходить, то ничего не поможет. Ни штрафы, ни решётки, ни смерть. Тогда государство в том месте рисует пешеходные переходы или ставит светофоры . Поэтому они часто в таких непонятных местах

Stay off your phone while driving. I drive a motorcycle - no airbags. Watching these videos keeps me aware of how easy it is for someone to squish me on my bike and stay 110% vigilant.

In a nation with so many dashcams, so many people drive as though there are no dashcams.....not even their own.
