The bank burglary bandits were certainly clever, but not smart because they bragged about their crimes and told people what they had done. If true they stole about 30 million, they should have just quit. Greed makes people sloppy and when you are complacent, you get caught. I am sure they are out of prison or dead and I have to give them credit for their ingenuity, but they made some really stupid mistakes.
@rudeboi-wk1ou
@rudeboi-wk1ou Год назад
no, only 1 guy bragged which was also the last guy to be captured, 8 years after the heist happened. he prolly thought they would just shut the case and let it go since it been so long and they had all the others already arrested but thats what the cops hope for, but thats how it goes, it'll forever haunt you whether it be guilty conscience or the law.

I have to admit a grudging admiration for a really well pulled off bank robbery. It's interesting to see where the plans go wrong afterwards. Usually a combination of ego and greed. If I were to successfully rob a bank I would only do it once, and then lay low for the rest of my life. (Of course I would never want anyone to get hurt. ) No flashy spending or talking about it to ANYONE. Same if I found a ton of money buried in my yard. Finders keepers! 😄

I'm not positive but I think the way statutes of limitations work is you have x amount of time to charge someone with the crime. If you charge th with it, even if you can't find them, you've stopped the clock on the statute. So I'm guessing they actually filed charges against him, but he was considered a fugitive fr justice. If it didn't work that way, anyone could commit a crime and then just hide from police to let the clock run out. But by charging them before you catch them, it stops the clock and even if they hide for several years, when you finally do find them they can still be taken to trial on the charges that were filed. Even if it was 8 years later.

Crazy to see how much tax payer money is spent finding the thieves of a private bank. Makes me wish I could federally insure my own belongings. Too bad I’m just a regular person and the state views me as worthless.

A burglar is not a bandit. A bandit is an armed robber. Burglary is not the same as robbery. From the beginnin I am thinkin those burglars are goin to have German names. It seems like a very German kind of operation. [Later] -- Hah! What did I tell, to you! "Broeckel" German name -- electronics and explosives expert. See how right I was! I -- even I -- was right!

I don't buy that the safe company tech was looking for another way in as his reason for crawling up on top of it. The safe guy knew it could only have been jammed from inside. Who is going to lock themself inside? No one ergo there had to be a break in and another entry BECAUSE there was a break in.

I love this old fashion police work There was a Candian gang of bank robbers called the stop watch gang the have a documentary and a book about it. One time the stop watch gang was robbing a bank somewhere in America and one of them was a look out the brinks guards had gone in with the cash and the brinks guard that was outside saw the lookout went out and asked him why he was standing there he said Oh my buddies are inside robbing the bank and laughed the brinks guard thought he was joking they got away with that job.Patrick Mitchell died in prison in the states but its quit a story he escaped from a prison they also escaped from a prison in U.S.A and one in Canada.
