Best of Shredder 

This took over 8 hours tonight because I had to gather up 6 years worth of clips and photos. It felt not right to upload before giving Shredder a proper send off. I hope if Ethan or Hila sees this that it reminds them how much Shredder was able to watch their family grow from before even the boys were born. I’ve tried sending it to them on socials. Rest easy, Shredder ❤️

Like Ethan has always said over the years; we as humans do not deserve dogs and the love they give us unconditionally. I hope my pups saved Shreddar a spot at the poker table up there🙏

Them getting shredder was arguably a catalyst for me getting a lot of my shit together. I was living alone and kinda just soaking in bitterness after not being able to bring my cat due to health issues. They got shredder and he was such a noticeable change on them. They cared so much about him and it showed on the podcast. The huge grins he caused Ethan, hila, the guests, and us at home to have. I ended up fostering puppies to try to get some of that in my life and it was so rewarding. My friends who were also struggling had these moments of **joy** and **caring** we were lacking so much when they came over. We giggled like high schoolers again playing with them which we hadn't done in a decade. I think you don't realize how real atrophy is until you have some sensation of "high," again without actually doing drugs. I'm sure there were fans who were just more reminded about their unhappiness when shredder came around, but I also think a lot of fans saw something they'd like to have and then made steps to achieve it. That was then potentially a chain reaction to apply that to other parts of their life like I did. TLDR: Shredder and his effect on H3 was so positive it likely caused viewers to achieve actual good in their lives, community, etc. He'll be greatly missed but his impact is lasting. I am getting a dog next year and will be naming them shredder in his honor

My cat Mariska is dying today. From kidney failure. She's in the hospital overnight right now and I know she will never come home. I held her in my arms today for the last time. I am 29, and I have had her since I was 18. I remember when you guys got Shredder, and you were so excited. We have all loved Shredder so much, what a little buddy to so many across the world. I knew to take my Mariska in to the hospital when she threw up all of her dinner, like Ethan said Shredder did. I believe that saved her a great deal of suffering. Rest in Peace, Shredder

I lost my own dog last year, he was around 17ish, miss him all the time. it breaks my heart Shredder didn’t get to live as long a life as he deserved, but I know that with having parents like Ethan and Hila, he never went a second without more than enough love. it is going to be hard not seeing him anymore but he’ll always be a part of the family, protecting Alfredo and the boys from above 🤍🤍 peace and love to all the dogs and pets of the world, for we truly don’t deserve their unconditional and everlasting love ☮️💜

🥺 Ohhhhhh, this is the sweetest little tribute to li’l King Shredder Klein ❤️ I burst into tears when I read Ethan’s heartbreaking post yesterday, that the cute legend had passed away.. I’ve never cried over someone else’s animal dying 😢💔😕.. I was on the way home from a brutal dental appointment & couldn’t feel my face. The bus was packed & I had music cranking, I read the post & lost it.. I must’ve looked totally deranged 🤦🏻‍♀️.. I’m sure the teenagers on the bus thought I was a wacko 🙄.. I hope Ethan, Hila, Teddy, Bruce, Alfredo, Donna/Gary & the whole crew are Ok ❤️❤️❤️✌🏼✨ x

Losing a pet is one of the most heartbreaking thing you could ever feel in your life. Some people might think you're being overdramatic from losing an animal, but it's still a true feeling. Shredder is pain free now somewhere, with all the food and steaks he likes. I hope Ethan and Hila will give themselves time to heal too.

My heart is breaking for the Klein’s right now. You can see my profile pic is my Norfolk Terrier who lost her sister my other Norfolk last year. When Terra passed from heart disease it gutted me and hearing of Shredders passing even though we knew it was coming brings back all those feelings of sadness. Ethan has said puppies are the purest angels among us and a gift to humanity. He’s right, despite all the pain the loss of a beloved pet entails that pales in comparison to the unconditional love and joy they bring to our lives when with us. Shredder you wormed your way into our hearts through your cuteness but seeing the realness of Ethan’s love for you and by extension the heart within him is the true gift you’ve given all of us in the Family. Rest in peace little buddy 💔

My cat Cowboy passed away from kidney failure awhile ago too. Everyone at the vets office said goodbye to him. Brought my new cat there recently and everyone still remembered Cowboy. He had a big personality. He would purr so loudly they could not check his heartbeat 😂. We had to bring him in a big pouch since he was not good with carriers. Best cat I have ever had.

I've been so sad to hear about Shredder. My dog just passed after we got into a bad car accident this week. I will forever feel guilty that my best friend went out in so much pain. Until we meet again, Bou. I'm sorry, buddy.

Knowing that last picture you showed was the last one they took of him before he passed made me burst into tears, man. I lost my dog about 6 months ago and I think of him every day. We met when I was 7 and he grew up with me for 12 years; if Shredder was Ethan & Hila's child, my dog was my little brother. One of the last pictures I took of him before he died, when I didn't even know he was sick, had him looking back at the camera with a shimmer in his eyes, with almost the exact pose and expression from Shredder's picture Point is: this whole situation hit me really hard. But you've made a lovely tribute to Shredder and I hope it helps us all remember the joy and companionship animals bring to our lives (and that we do our best to bring to theirs). I lost my 5 year old this spring, I know the pain they feel. I remember Ethan saying that Shredder is so young and I felt that. It isn't fair. It is painful. It will suck for a long time. I am obviously not over losing my 5 year old but I know we will heal and learn to love and care for someone else like this.

i train dogs for a living, i've said goodbye to a lot of them over the years. it doesn't get easier with practice, and them being "just a dog" is tragic cope. They are true members of the family, and they take a little bit of us with them when they go.

To be a beloved pet is a beautiful win in the existence lottery. I still have problems ruminating about my late animals - but with practice and time you're able to relive memories without the fog of how unfair the loss is. Really feeling for them right now and happy they have Alfedro for comfort.

I did see somewhere that when a loved one dies suddenly (B4 there time) it's cause they need to help u from the other side in ways they couldn't here on earth. With Ethan questioning his health lately I can only pounder on reasonings but I can tell shredder played a huge role in there life ❤

Idk if this reaches out but hopefully it helps someone going through a similar situation. As someone who lost their childhood dog close to 2 years ago. I can only sympathize with the grief and hope for a healthy recovery. Losing my best friend was the worst time of my life and I can confidently say that watching the pod made my days a little less painful and made me get my mind of the depressing state I was in. The pain is still present and sometime I wish I could share the best moments of my life with my bud, but with time it becomes more bearable and I can cherish those memories that I shared with her. Be sure to take any time to recover and just know that we will be there, the family will always be by your side in these harsh times
