I miss when the dunk contest was like this. Back when it was about athleticism rather than props and specific moments. Before the 2011 dunk contest, it hasn't been good since Josh Smith won.
First dunk contest I ever watched and on VHS around 32 years ago today. These dunks looks easy by today's NBA standards but this was still the time when do-over dunks weren't allowed. And I thought Doug West's dunks were quite impressive.
@Lorenshyne i really agree with you.i don't understand why people think these old star game dunk contests are better than some of the recent ones. for example this year I saw a great show. a lot of amazing dunks (except the Griffin one over the car).
benten oyunları _i doubted it first cause I thought it was a scam but_ _I took the risk cause it offers 100% money back guarantee. I bit the_ _bullet and I have no regrets on paying it. I can now jump higher and now,_ _Im a star player in our volleyball team. Im a lot stronger and quicker now._ _Thank God Ive found the right one that works!_
@kobeballer not sure what you mean because there was alot of nice dunks in the video, just cause there isn't props that doesn't make the dunk bad..props ruin it
@kobeballer This is a lot more interesting than jumping off/over props. Unlike their successors, these guys knew how to please the crowd without substituting in distractions to account for their own inadequacies.
Larry Johnson should have won. The blind fold dunk should have rewarded for the best creativity but Larry's 360 dunk was far more superior than Cedrics.
he can see through that blind fold! i'm 100% sure! look at how he moved. undeserving high score i think! but entertainment wise it's good. but it's just surreal!
dunking before was all jumping and raw style, BUT dunking today is all about cars and three balls at the same time. we obviously know which is better... THREE BALLS
!!!WHY why did you have to miss so many DAM Dunks LJ how good would have it looked with LJ & that sick ass teal jersey 🎽holding up that trophy 🏆on his rookie year.instead that ugly cheap 😜🙈🙉dunk is what people will remember but Ceballos did pull off some good dunks until he cheated his way to victory,it looks like a dunk that would have looked good in the 70's,people were easily impressed by cheaper shit back then.but it was LJ who had it to be the winner he just missed & kept trying to make the same dunks he kept missing,if he was really 6'7 he would have made the ones he attempted & if his back wasn't always screwed. 😤
i dont think the fans should be able to vote in todays dunk contes, because most people dont care about the dunk, they just want their favorite player to win...dumb.
