I’m going to +1 that… owned waaaayyy too many amps, including both KSRs and Fryettes (not an Artemis, though 🤔), and the JP2C seems to be the one I’ve settled on. To the point where I sold it and then had to track it back down and buy it back 😅. That Artemis does sound 🤤 though

Man the roadster is one of my favorite amps haha. Loved mine. If you can ever pick up a Gemini, you'll be extremely glad you did haha. The Artemis is so close to being untouched for me

@@PariahVSGear NO it is an opinion, and if you think what I did was shit on your amp then consider it shit and shitted upon (frankly if you are going to post clickbait titles like Best Metal AMp you are GOING to get pushback, especially from Mesa owners, isn't the KSR just a modded Mesa like Marshall was a mooded Fender, did Marshall ever surpass Fender, NO!!!, likewise your Mesa mod KSR iis NOT better for Metal, just different, (Better for your FARTY style, that is what it sounds like to my Black Sabbath/Judas Priest/Dream Theater loving ears), so get over yourself and thicken that skin dummy (or better yet, chord chord fart chord chord fart)

I own the Sig:x and find that it does a great job with many different styles, including more conventional metal tones. I personally don't care for the farty djent sound either. Paired with a good compressor to smooth out the high end sizzle, it can do almost whatever you want in a convincing manner. That said, I probably would be happier with a Soldano or a Marshall for metal. The cleans can't compare though.

@@charlesblerzbo1616 Thank you, the only point I was trying to make (before you say things like "best amp for metal" you better have your definitions straight, because I have been a metal head since SABBATH (and have seen the various mislabelings. like Rush is Metal...they were NEVER metal, they WERE hard rock )(which is a truly underrated genre, Triumph, April Wine, Thin Lizzie)...he just killed me with his assertions then he came off with farty noise....that was even worse!!! Most amps souind drastically different once you take the droptuning out of the equation (he said he had only dropped his a half step...I think the fact he was holding a 7 string puts the BULLSHIT to that statement...especially when you compare his drop to mine?!!!!)...his low e is one hell of a half step drop ccompared to mine...lmao
