@@mujahudin 0:35 That person who was commentating in that game against the Kansas Jayhawks sounds like the same announcer for Monday Night Football back in the 2016-2017 NFL season.
If Duke had shown dat version of them n da tourney and playd in that manner it's not even klose. Calipari said if dey play like dat, it's a final 4 / national championship type team wit utter shock, disbelief n awe at the same time. 🤣🤣🤣
#1 still brings back bad memories for me. I have always been a blue devil but at this time in my life I made some bad decisions and found myself in the Georgia department of corrections. We were all in front of the sports tv watching this game. It was a great game the whole way. Unfortunately after the 9 pm count cleared that night the guards came in and told me to pack it up. I was transferring prisons and wasn’t able to finish watching one of the greatest games ever played. When I got to my next camp the following morning I was quick to ask who won. And when the televisions finally came on that day and I got to watch sports center and saw the way the game ended I was so happy my team won but I was so mad I missed watching that. Then I had to wait until 2015 to see them win another one. Moral of the story don’t do stupid stuff and go to prison and u can watch your team win the national title in dramatic fashion
I remember watching that Duke vs Louisville game. My papaw and I almost turned it off because Duke was playing so terribly but we decided to leave it on... next thing I know I'm jumping around and he's laughing in his chair. One of my favorite moments!
I remember these games so vividly. Man how i miss all the stars, role players etc. Duke basketball is full of intensity, grit, determination and beautiful ball movement
Yes, more magical moments, indeed. But anyways, I just hope you remember to wish Coach K good luck on retirement, because he was one of the best coaches in the history of men's college basketball.
Outstanding video. Obviously the national title games are 1 and 2, but I would argue that the Baylor elite 8 game was #3 and the game at UVA game in 2015 was #4. Baylor had an elite player in Udoh and was playing a pseudo home game in Houston. Nolan Smith had the game of his life to pull that out for us. The 2015 game at UVA was the best regular season game because it was a road game, UVA was 19-0 on the season, and KenPom had us only a 12% chance to win. Duke was down multiple times in that game but kept fighting back with some clutch play from the entire team. Quinn Cook was right: Duke is never the underdog!
Love that win over UVA. Only bummer is that I was on a flight for almost all of it, finally landing with about 10 minutes to go, and getting play-by-play updates over text from my then-gf (now wife) while I walked through the airport and waited at baggage claim. Luckily I recorded it and was able to go home and watch it on the DVR (5 or 6 times).
Something that may be overlooked but a huge what if in my mind...if Kennard stayed all 4 years, he would've been a senior with Tre, R.J., Cam, and Zion last season. Add an experienced sharpshooter like him to that team, and you can only wonder...
So many memories….u totally forget about some of these players and teams till u rewatch and say wow ya know Tyler Thorten was such a great duke player…or Andre Dawkins…or Matt Jones there’s so many guys we kinds forget that i love rewatching play
