My favorite had always been the Oregon Duck typing in his office, looks out the window at the ducks playing, sighs, back to work. No words, just that emotion we feel working away while others are playing.

Came to see the Alexi Lalas one 3:30 because Keith Olbermann talked about the making of that commercial on his podcast (Countdown with Keith Olbermann) today (Keith is the one grabbing the guitar and breaking it).

Listening to Olbermann's podcast for today (11-29-23), and he goes into detail about the Lalas guitar smashing commercial...it was his actual desk back then, and he was writing that night's 11 PM Sportscenter script. The guitar was held together with masking tape, cuz it was the only prop guitar they bought for the shoot. I now can't stop laughing knowing the backstory!

Close, although I think Canada calls it Soccer also?? And so does the UK... (In addition to calling it Football) That's where the word came from, derived from "Association Football." I remember being a bit surprised to find out one of the most popular "Football" video game series in the UK is SWOS, Sensible World of Soccer. Not Sensible World of Football. ;-)

@@desiv1170 , i don't know about Canada, mybe coz they were next door to usa.. yes the word is English, and came from england.. but they don't use soccer as the word, but used football.. Just admit it.. if the American football doesnt exist. The US Will also use the word football just like other nation do,,they use soccer as the word so people not to be confused with another football.
