As great a platform it is, so many suffer from "airy" sounding engines and exhausts it's a let down, pretty much all the golfs besides maybe 2 sounded generic and samey, it's a shame because other than the 3.0 and 2.0 tsi engines, the other engines sound great but rarely seen.
