Just read the explanation for the hiatus. I feel awful that you feel you can’t be proud of wca, and I know other people saying that they love the art nonetheless won’t change your own view on it. That being said, good luck on your break from it as your practice to obtain a style you can enjoy. We love you :) Edit: for those who didn’t read the description, Rory is unhappy with his art and will be practicing and focusing on improving it to his liking, plus WCA takes time and money and he has a regular job, we won’t be expecting anymore WCA this year.

Man here's the thing with art. It's subjective. Your goofy cats are consistent. That shows high skill. You don't have to be realistic. I'm a critical person, I know my way around transparencies and the like. You're putting a lot of pressure on yourself for no reason. It's great you want to get better, but don't stress about it. People who think what you're doing is sloppy have no damned clue what they're talking about. There is real skill behind the quality you put out, I can see any little mistake and I seen not a god damn thing. Not a single error that stands out and pulls a trained eye like mine out of it. As for money, how does a makeship campaign sound? I'd love a bluestar or tigerclaw plush and I'm willing to bet you can get 500 preorders.

This series is really my favourite thing on RU-vid AND my favourite thing that has come out of the warrior cats community. It’s comedic, unique in it’s art style and just really loveable! After reading your hiatus update I just wanted to say: Youve given us so much amazing content and as a 21 yr old myself, I get what you mean about wanting to improve your art and I hope you can find yourself in a more content place with everything. Hey it’s no pain to me if you as a creator need to step back for a bit. I’ve loved watching this series over the past three years but whatever you want to create is fully up to you. I definitely feel the “my art should be better then it is for where I am in life” it’s a very difficult thing to grapple with. At the end of the day your what matters, and I’ll do my best to stick around until our favourite little marshmallow returns from his little vacation.

Tbh I love the art style- it may not be fancy realistic or at least highly detailed cartoon or something but all the character designs are fun and each character has their own unique design. Also, comedy

I think it's one of the most important things as an artist is to step away from things you enjoy as a hobby when they start to feel like jobs. And I'm glad your taking the time you need to rethink things. Though I just want to say, I've enjoyed wca throughout all these years and your a very talented writer and artist! Your genuinely a huge inspiration to me and I cant wait to see what you do in the coming years.
