DFT was my main for a good while, very underrated imo. The skill cap is higher than one would expect from an otk deck, especially because of the jars. The game state is almost always complicated rather than simplified.
Like almost every otk deck, it sucks against roar and waboku, i have them in every side(3x roar). Btw i love your channel, i would like to see some decks from teledad format (September 2008 banlist, till CSOC)
You are right about that, but jinzo helps with that, plus no one really plays those cards, even in the side. Also, even if someone should really side this, the deck can win without otking too, which makes it much more versatile compared to other decks. Also thank you, glad to hear that! Unfortunately I don’t play that format and don’t own any cards of that time. Would be cool to try it out though :)
Im currently playing this build, ive been testing 2 raigeki breaks and they seem ti be ok, the deck needs the monsters quick in the grave and also blows a card from the opp.
@@potofgreed3623 one of the issues is that sometimes you can be overwhelmed in early game if you dont draw you little monsters, i might switch to the recruiter version with shining angel and tomatoes, maybe more support magic cards to make it more consistent, the deck is pretty consistent but drawing too many blow out cards such as dimension fusion, lightning vortex, etc. Sometimes chaos sorcs brick and im thinking cutting one but i dont know.
Yes that’s true. I honestly think that can happen with any deck though. Also for me it the deck is quite consistent. But I think it mostly comes down to personal preference and individual play style which deck works for you. Let me know if the recruiter one works better for you :)
IMO Sangan, D.D. Warrior Lady, and Breaker don't belong in the deck, but could be decent side deck choices. 1)Playing Sangan gives your opponent an extra turn to set up a board with you actually not accomplishing anything, your targets are D.D Warrior Lady and all your flips which would be exposed. why not spend your turn just playing the flip monsters which set up for your dimension turn. I see no reason to run sangan over another Merchant who can put light, darks, and Tribe in grave furthering your gameplan. 2)D.D. Warrior Lady is redundant when you have Tribe, Lightning Vortex, and chaos sorcerer post Dimension Fusion. doing what she does but better for recruiters. She also adds to their removed pool in the early game which is bad. She doesn't further your gameplan. 3)Breaker is not needed when you are running Jinzo, Heavy, and two Trunades. Just because he is a staple like Delinquent duo, doesn't make him an auto include. he is only good for snatch steal removal. But that is too specific to include him. 4)I would cut one nobleman of crossout, he is good near the end game post Dimension fusion. but hitting thier dekoichi early game will hurt you later on. I would add 3 Toon Table of Contents and one Toon Cannon Soldier for the reasons below 1) Thins deck by 3 cards quickly, getting you closer to DMOC/Lightning Vortex/Tribe/& Friends 2)Toon Cannon Soldier can be normal summoned and tributed by his effect dealing 500 damage and loading a dark in grave in a pinch for an immediate Chaos Monster making your hand less bricky. Bonus damage is small but every lifepoint closer to 0 counts. 3) When revived by Dimension Fusion he is 2500 damage on his own by using his effect to tribute your whole board. This can play around an opponents full board and even dodges Mirror Force and Sakus if they are in range to KO and you don't have Jinzo/Trunade/Heavy set up.
